Hey friends!

2018 is wrapping up, which is a great time to reflect on how the year has gone. Here are some ideas of questions to ask yourself:

What went well?

What did I learn?

What did I accomplish?

With your responses in mind, think about what you want your 2019 to look like:

What goals do you have?

What do you want to learn?

What do you want to accomplish?

Being mindful and setting intentions are a great way to start fresh in the new year. If you are comfortable sharing some of your intentions please to do below, or you can share a great win you had in 2018 or anything else.

What went well?

What mainly went well this year is that my parents and I were able to renovate our old house well. Home sweet home <3

What did I learn?

I learned that communication is really important, most especially the manner of how you deliver your message to people

Experience-wise :(

What did I accomplish?

I became much more responsible and organized :D I consider that as huge accomplishments because I was rarely like that

What goals do you have?

My goals:

To engage myself more in social realms

To provide my pet a better home

To master Medical Coding

To work on skills and certifications I can add in my resume

To apply for the university I've always dreamed of

To beat maladaptive daydreaming (It's becoming uncontrollable now that it's consuming so much time)

To have a good support network

What do you want to learn?

Medical Coding, Qur'an recitation (Yes, I am a Muslim), Arabic language, and, most of all, patience

What do you want to accomplish?

To be constantly part of the honor roll.

@Jill7cups

Would you care to elaborate on "Intention Setting" because I'm afraid I'm not following this particular thread very well today.

Thanks

@diplomaticconfucious of course! When you set an intention it is kind of like acknowledging how you want your life to be. So for example today I could set the intention to remember to be grateful, because I want my life to be full of contentment. It is something you intend to make a priority, usually surrouding personal development in some way. I found this article that explains it, the article is very focused on meditation and yoga but you can set intentions without all that if it isn't part of your interests. Click here to read it and best of luck with your intentions!

@Jill7cups this year has been a big struggle so it's hard to think of something that went well. But I need to be proud of myself for the fact that I have not used heroin or any opiate since March 7th 2018. So that is a big accomplishment I have this year and obviously hope to continue this through out 2019 and the rest of my life. Taking it day-by-day though.
