I like Headspace and Luminosity. If you go onto youtube or any site that has video they usually have advertisements for Headspace depending on your watch history. I like the animations that they use to explain meditation, how the mind works, etc. The only downside to the Headspace app is that you have to pay $12.99 to have full access to all the apps features but its worth it! Trust me on this. Luminosity is another app that i would recommend. It has a whole different bunch of games you can play specifically geared towards the functions of the mind, for example, flexibility and attention to detail. If you want full access to the app you also have to pay but i dont know how much. But, again, its worth it. Both apps are intuitive, informative, helpful, and fun. I hope this helps you guys in your journey of recovery!

@yssah Hi! I found some great meditations on you tube. They have some great videos on mindfulness meditation, clearing your mind, anxiety, etc. I have used them many times over. My only issue is that I use the guided meditations since I am fairly new to meditation. They work great and it is amazing how you feel once you complete the meditation. My mind wanders when I don't have someone guiding me through the meditation. Your mind will wander but I just refocus and bring myself back. I hope this helps!

@yssah I don't really like to pay for apps so I have been using the free Stop, Breathe & Think app on my phone, mainly because it connects to my Fitbit and I earn points if I use it smiley But it has a good selection of mindfulness exercises, allows you to check in with yourself, including emotions, and recommends exercises based on that, if you want. There's also a feed that sends you uplifting messages. It tracks your progress, daily streaks, top emotions you enter, etc.

@yssah Hi and welcome to Mindfulness areasmiley There are so many things out there to invest in and stuff. Mainly I look for FREE! You can get onto google and search mindfulness skills. If its what you like bookmark that page and try one daily. Or others suggestions here are awesome. We have many good videos in our recourse library if you like to pick one daily and try.
