Everyday gives me a new reason to stay humble
Just wanted to drop in a quick note that recently I got selected to the university I wanted to for my master's program and while I am deeply grateful that I did. I felt more humbled when I came to realise that people who had more score than mine and who performed better in their group discussions and personal interviews than me got waitlisted, I could not help but feel an even deeper sense of humility.
It reminded me that although I did get in and I was at the right place at the right time, in front of the right panellists. There are people better than me who did not make it. I will forever be grateful that the universe gave me a chance to prove myself and that this was an opportunity life gave me and I grabbed it and I will make sure that I return this favour not by partying but by praying, rightfully back to where it deserves to be.
Always remember to stay humble, especially when you get what you've always wanted!
