@Sittingservant2024 how do we stay kind and patient?? I think it's something that comes naturally the more time you spend at 7 cups 💗 I've learnt so much from people here💖 but make sure you take care of yourself too 💗

@Sittingservant2024

I feel staying patient and kind can sometimes be hard.

especially if we are not treated with patience and kindness. i try to step outside of the situation and take a deep breath.  Try not to respond when I feel like saying something mean or sarcastic.  Sometimes I fail and am not patient or kind but when I fail ..... I  can get up again and try again...

A great question, I have been intrigued by it since my youth & even now with a career, I make sure to keep out time by pondering over this.

I am sure many of us including you know a lot of it already, but just to compile it all together, I guess there are several points which have helped me through this:

  1. Accept every situation that comes, don't repress your thoughts or any situation which feels comfortable either. 'Happiness is my default state' & it is not dependant on fulfillment of wants or desires in any way. If what I want happens, my happiness increases but if things don't turn out the way we want, my happiness doesn't decrease. Happiness is just a state of being in the present (it is in a way acceptance). If you try to recollect anytime in your life you were happy because you got or achieved something, you realise the only thing you felt was free, in whatever state you were.

  2. Love for all INCLUDING Yourself: If someone is unkind to you maybe because of your own fault or no, but if you are your most loving parent & teacher, any harsh words will not affect you & you won't feel any anxiety in accepting guilt & correcting it either. Also if a person is harsh to you & if it doesn't affect you anymore, the person would only feel like a fussy child, where a parent knows what is right & is only focused on calming the child without defending himself or herself.

  3. A small prayer waking up & going to bed: I usually pray to Mother Nature as soon as I get up, and it is just a small one liner 'Let all be peaceful & happy' , It could be anything for anyone, but the foundation that peace & happiness for all & believing in it, you realise that anyone else's happiness also becomes your own.

  4. Study your mind: I keep out 10 min atleast (or more) to study my mind, thoughts etc. I mix different methods, making notes, meditating, thinking etc. We live our whole life & interact with the world around us, through this machine every moment of our life. Studying it like any machine, gives us the power to make the best use of it & also Prevent any Hazards. Address every thought like a friend, without repressing any kind of thought. If we are thirsty and we open a rusty tap after a long time, we let all the dirt run through till we see the clear water. Hold it back(repression) we are thirsty, Drink the dirt (seeing ourselves negatively) we get sick, Give the dirt to someone else they get sick(but our thirst is not fulfilled), Let it run & you finally see for who you are (Clear, pure).

'Nature which made us & takes care of all of us will take care of us financially, physically, mentally no matter what happens always' No need to believe me, if you test it even for a week or a month at max, the results will be evident.

Bless you all
