Motivation...

I'm having a bit of a wobble, my step count for January was the lowest it's been since Feb 2024 and the distance I've walked and ran also didn't break the 300 km mark.

I've had a couple of wobbles during the month with an aggravated bowel, it happens stomach and bowel lining damaged from NSAIDs and anticoagulant in take for thrombosis can have a fight occasionally.

I'm also feeling lonely, brief chat on Cups and a couple of responses helps but doesn't replace the presence of another person.

Timw to stop feeling sorry for myself, I've got a runstreak to protect, hopefully regulars I can smile, acknowledged maybe even have a brief chat with at the gym, a quick mindfulnesw on breath and body scan as i start my session and if all good, and my bowel gives me a green light then I might start chasing them endorphins .... If I don't give it it a shot I'm likely to spend all day in and out of Cups feeling sorry for myself and I don't want that ð¤ªð¤ª

My runstreak started after just a short spell of COVID played havoc with my lungs. The symptoms weren't much more than a mild cold for less than a week but it was a slow patient 9 months of patiently increasing activity and running before my lungs had fully recovered. The runstreak was a nway to inspire me to be as aerobically for as I can be to my minimise the risk of future problems as the embolisms thave resulted in scarred lungs and clarified deposits.

Tine for my run, but hope this helps anyone struggling for motivation, physically or psychologically ð¤ªð¤ªð¤ª

It's ok to feel sorry for yourself 💚

You don't have to trivialize what you are feeling.

Chats here are awesome but we all need connection

That's valid.

You have real medical issues, that most people couldn't imagine.

You are still putting in the work.

Put January behind you.

Today's a new day.

You've got this.

I applaud your efforts and determination.

Good luck 💚🤗

I quit again but no biggie, it's only temporary and I know I'll bounce back 😉😉

I'm far more positive, runstreak protected and exchanged Messenger details with the PT, thanked me for yesterday. She recently graduated in psychology, had an awesome chat over Mocha, it is Word Chocolate apparently, I'm chuffed she wanted too 😉😉

Ah that's nice for you 🥰

Good attitude, starting again doesn't ruin any progress you've already made 💚

Man, Dont dwell.... you have been disciplined and a physical gogetter for years. (Read your bio) 😏

You know darn well you'll come up out of this valley. At least i have no doubts 😁. Absorb the respite as a natural stage. Not a deficiency.

I'm a social disaster always waiting to alienate the best of people, but i keep working on it. An ability to connect socially sure could make things more.... ??? Better? yea, better,

Whether it's social awkwardness or physical goals... it's ok, you know, stAY At It!

Congrats on getting "Chuffed". keep up the good work!
