2026 Week #18 - Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 04/27/25 - Sunday 05/03/26)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

@IsayUncle

Let's do this! 😄💪
@mytwistedsoul
I'm in! 😀
@IsayUncle Yee haw! 🤠

@IsayUncle
The struggle persists. I made good progress clearing land last week but everything else fell apart.
RIGHT NOW.... Continue learing the lot before the big rains tomorrow, OR House and office back log.
The indecisiveness can destroy motivation for both, ruinning the entire day.
Clear lot.... Easy, no brainer.
Housework.... Monotnous but greatly needed.... way needed..... cyclone meets trash-can and destroys vacuum..... I started petting the carpet, thinking it was one of my pups.
1:12PM Wash dishes, Sort kitchen.
I save my bones and vegetable skins separately in a one gallon bags, In the freezer. When one gallon bags get filled up completely, I pressure cooked the bones to make bone broth for myself and dog treats for the pups. The vegetable stock gets cooked separately because it doesn't take as long. After they're both cooked and strained I often mix them together and put them in freezer bags to have a general stock on hand for cooking.
the gallon bag for Bones full Plus another small plastic container. I want to debone a rotisserie chicken that's already cooked, before it spoils and so that's more bones.
2:29PM: Pressure cook bones and Start some laundry. (I'm runnning in robotic mode because to fail means i failed clearing the lot also.... the easy task)
It is so beautiful outside, I'm doubting myself if I made the right choice to do housework. Doubting oneself can be equal to discouraging oneself. Can't do that, trust the process.
@IsayUncle I think it's so cool that you make bone broth! I usually toss that stuff to the chickens. Can you just cook the rotisserie chicken down until it falls off the bone?
@mytwistedsoul
I think that it's cool that you got chickens. 😄. The rotisserie chicken was from Walmart, But I wanted to take the meat off of it And yes the meat did fall off the bones. I just added the bones with all my other bones I had in the freezer, I roasted them and now I'm pressure cooking them for 4 hours. Who makes the best bone broth in the world? (Not True.... real bone marrow bones and select bones do much better) Mine are just just junk bones.... pork, chicken snd beef bones all mixed together.)
Ooo, a garden. Yum Yum. You got an early start, that's great. Just a few more weeks to protect them from frost and you'd be rocking and rolling. Carrots and snap peas are really good items. I never had the patience for a garden. The planting, the waiting, the picking etc. It's all very time consuming. But I would love to have one.
The Lot: I ended up getting a good deal, on 12 by 24 building And I think I'm going to use it for a workshop to build sheds.
BTW, I read your post on the other thread. I'll be getting back to it. 😁🐌.
Thanks man, better get back to it.🫡. have a great evening!
@IsayUncle Walmart has pretty good rotisserie chickens. I like the garlic butter ones. I haven't bought one in years though. Tbh I figure bones are bones. I do think it's great that you're getting the most out of them. I keep chunks of fat from slabs of meat to cook down and make homemade suet for the birds
@mytwistedsoul
That's good with the garden. There is a lot to it, But if you've adapted your timetable to it, I can absolutely see the benefits for anxiety Just the goodness of it all in it's entirety. I hope the weed fabric helps a lot. how nice will that be?,,, Not dealing with so many weeds, Woo Hoo! Plus the real benefits of your own food.
That's cool about the suet.... is that time consuming to make?
@IsayUncle It doesn't take long. You cook down the fat, add seeds and whatever, I use peanut butter, black oil sunflower seeds and sometimes oatmeal. Then pour it into whatever molds you're using and stick in the fridge or freezer until it sets up
I slacked off and napped....
pick up the pieces....
4:54PM: Clean kitchen mess from starting broth, start laundry
The struggle continues Tuesday morning. The Bone/Vegetable stock took a toll my limited hours from last night.
The noise of the international and local news, wearing down my brain. (change distraction)
With some Asian/Zen music, lightly playing in the background, and the wisps of light incense misting through the air, I will focus for an hour on morning tasks.
6:15AM: Morning tasks.
@amanda84 Have a very peaceful / fun day!

@IsayUncle
Appreciate you 💜🤗
I drove for two hours yesterday take care of Social Security paperwork, only, not to have the right paperwork with me. I brought the forms home to fill out And that is my next task because it all has to be done before the 30th of this month.
8:36AM: DO IMPORTANT PAPERWORK. After doing the paperwork I gotta drive to the office again to turn it in.
@IsayUncle No pressure but definitely get those done today!

@mytwistedsoul
Thx. have a great day. Rain for the garden will be good. 🍅🌱🍕(u did plant some pizza, right?) 😋
@IsayUncle I wish I could plant pizza! 😂
I saw the notice but I didn't get around to doing this yesterday. Got things I was expected to get done last week finished except hand formatting a bunch of data pulled from a web application because there's no export to an Xcel file and if I directly paste, it keeps the formatting of the application.
Got more than 2-3 hours of sleep last night even though I did crash for a couple of hours. Had a little of the trail mix that I had bought because I was hungry when I got home. Think that's what did it. At least I was able to get up and eat an actual meal before midnight.
Not sure what goal I should have this week, if any. right now, I need to get back to formatting this string of data otherwise the person waiting on it will ask me about it even though I'm not clocked in yet. Even if I could somehow work 25 hours a day, it still wouldn't be enough for this place...
