I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.

But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.

To praise each other for our efforts and wins.

While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.

And to continue trying and not give up.

Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!

Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

Do Your Best and Get Your rest.
Things are can be harder than what we first think. That's OK, You can do it. It's normal. Do your best. Be kind to yourself and Be kind to others.

@IsayUncle I thought someone would have written before me. I saw this yesterday but had nothing to put down. I still don't really have anything to put down but I'm still better than before. I have a window up and something in the window.

Still dealing with "microsleeps". Just became alert from one. I don't know what causes it. My diet or lack of diet, most likely. I tried looking it up on medical review sites but it really didn't tell me anything aside from consult my physician. That requires time and money I don't have. At least these instances happen only at work. Sometimes it takes me a bit to become fully awake again. I do have longer instances when I'm at home. That's when I fall asleep for a few hours with no real reason. Like yesterday. I had eaten and I believe we wen't out for a short walk. The dog wanted to take her ball out but it was over a hundred already. I think that's why we were in the bedroom. I wanted her to rest. She had come up beside me and I was doing a game on my mobile. My legs started hurting so   I lay down beside her and put my hand on her back. Eventually I fell asleep because the next thing I knew, it was after one and it had been close to eleven or twelve the last time I checked. Also had to really go to the bathroom. It was like my system partially shut down. I also took quite a bit to be fully coherent again. Doesn't happen often but I was not able to do as much as I'd hoped.

It happened Saturday too (not as bad) so I was hoping to use Sunday as a means to make up for what I didn't accomplish Saturday. Got part of the patio door washed (dog had left smudges on the glass) and got a little of the floor cleaned with the dog's "assistance" (mainly pulling the mop pad off of the mop and shaking it).

Um so what was I talking about? Goals. I don't really have anything specific. Pay what I owe on rent and maybe get another accound paid off. Still haven't won any contests. The game site that does weekly ones told me I'm holding my ground but didn't win anything this past week. I never win anything there. Well I won $10 once but that was a few months ago. Not likely to win anything substantial. Would be nice though.

My immediate goal is not to panic. Brought the notice in to work so I could scan it in and submit it to the retirement account. I just looked at the total. I didn't look at the timeframe on the notice. It's not 30 days like it has been in the past. It's seven. So now I have to use part of the money that I was going to use on the phone bill (had another bonus on the survey account) to pay the court fee or else I'll be locked out tomorrow. I'm not really concerned about that. I mean, I should be but I'm more concerned about the dog. They'd have to impound her. She doesn't deserve that.

Just filed the response. Cost me $75. Going to have to do some more surveys to get money for the phone bill since that is due tonight or else it'll be cut off and I'll have to pay an activation fee. Plus, I won't be able to get the codes I need to sign in to my account at work. I know, I should have looked at the date when I first received it but I didn't.

Submitted the paperwork for the withdrawal. That can take up to three days. The eviction notice is seven business days. So, if the withdrawal goes through, it should arrive before the  cut-off on the eviction although I paid $75 for an extension. Yet again, I have to deal with things that weren't exactly my fault. Yes, it was my fault for not paying the amount due on time but I was still recovering from moving and even that couldn't be accomplished without help. No help from the apartment complex which told me to move then left me to deal with everything and then got mad at me taking too long.

It's not like I'm not trying. I am but it never seems that any of my efforts are actually worth anything. Nothing ever seems to work out. Because it's just me, I'm forced to deal with everything and I generally fail at it. There is no help. Everyone is struggling to get along the best they can and everyone is basically out for themselves.

@Enthenia I'm so sorry you're dealing with all this 😞 What you're facing is so scary with the eviction. Especially when it comes to your dog. Again I can't help but think I wish there was a way we could help. I know you're trying as hard as you can and it's not fair that all this is happening to you. I hope and pray that things will get better for you 💜

I found this website -  https://share.google/GvPLsjKVx38MkfWGD
looking into microsleeps. It happens to me sometimes but mine is sleep deprivation. The heat and humidity and working outside all day drains me too.
Maybe you're just not getting enough sleep? I know being in pain can make sleep a hard task too.
Sending you light and love 💜

@mytwistedsoul thanks. I also had a missed call from the holders of my student loan. There must have been a returned payment. I wish the processing speed for that was faster. I also have the past-due balance for the university to deal with. Right now I'm most concerned with the phone bill. Paying the fee to file a response with the court left me $3 something to deal with. I've got almost $20 on a gaming site but I have to wait five days before I can touch it. Not especially helpful right now. I should have a direct deposit hit tonight so as long as I can get my bill paid by 8 my time, I'll be good. Tried to do surveys earlier today but I got stuck in a loop. I'd answer one then there'd be a processing error and it would transport me to a new survey. I don't get paid for each of the surveys I do, I just get paid for one. Just got screened out of another one and I have less than ten minutes to do another.

Got the phone bill paid!! The company was two hours ahead, not three which was good because the deposit didn't post until 9. The dog's food order is processing. Ran out of dry food yesterday. Will get something at the local pet store to get her through until the order is delivered. Will pay one outstanding bill off today.

Currently dealing with pain in the lower part of my leg. Woke up at two in the morning with a bad leg cramp. That hasn't happened in a while but it's the shin, tibia, shank, whatever you want to call it that has been hurting slightly for a few days. I have no idea why.

That's the annoying thing. There is never any even ground in my life. I wonder if such a state actually exists.

@Enthenia I'm glad you got your phone bill taken care of. That's a weight off your shoulders and I know how necessary a phone is.

Do you drink enough water? I've always heard that can cause leg cramps. Maybe some hot or cold compress would help ease the pain?

I think there's level ground around but it can be hard to reach unfortunately because things like to work against us 💜

@mytwistedsoul I don't think I drink enough. I don't like leaving my desk to use the restroom. I'm still slightly self conscious when I go to the restroom after I was "monitored" when I got written up that one time. I've mentioned it before. The manager always happened to be around when I came back from the restroom. It got to where I would wait until they were in meetings before I went. That was a couple of years ago but I've never fully trusted my managers since then.

I got on a payment plan for the credit cards!! It forgives part of the debt and my accounts will be closed once I make the final payment but I'll have no calls. I know you're not supposed to close credit accounts but the other payment options were too high and at least I'm making an effort to pay some of what I owe. Never planned for any of that to happen. I wanted to be responsible and all that but life got in the way.

@Enthenia I don't drink enough water either. I can understand not wanting to leave your desk of that was how the manager acted. It's so pathetic that they would monitor your time away from your desk like that. I mean God forbid you were in there because you were ill or something more serious than the call of nature.

Hey that's great about the credit card companies working with you! I think they should have a cap on the amount of interest they can charge. They could still make money at a lower rate. You're making the attempt to pay and that's still pretty responsible imo.

@mytwistedsoul also got the rent paid!! Paid over which I have done before and I was able to get a few things. Sort of needed to get the new ball because hers is cracked and will break apart soon. I'd like to have a back-up for when that happens.

@Enthenia Hey that is awesome Enthenia! I bet that's a load off your mind! Congratulations! 🥳

Aww yeah! It's good to have a backup ready for when the other ones break.

@mytwistedsoul yes. I was also able to take advantage of a sale where I get my work clothes from. I haven't been able to buy anything for quite a while and a lot of what I had didn't make the trip with me. Also, much of it was too big for me. I've noticed that what I do have is starting to feel big on me so I figured I should get a few items while I can. I will still need to replace a lot. I don't really have any coats for when it gets colder. Fortunately, sweaters are designed to appear big (for some reason) so I should be fine with what I have.

I also need to order groceries. I've almost got $15 between the two survey accounts. Not much but it's better than nothing.

@caringShoulder1357 thanks. I don't know about being a living definition though.

Just didn't have a choice in most of the circumstances. Or the circumstances happened contrary to what I thought would happen.

Also got the dog some food along with her sticks and a pork shank. Tried to find a small bag since she's got food coming in a few days. Looked at the refrigerated section because at the grocery store, they have a small bag of food that I can make last two to three days. But, I needed the food today as I didn't have anything to give her aside from her frozen yogurt and fruit along with some biscuits and freeze dried fish this morning. That's what I normally give her to keep her occupied in her crate until I get home. Of course, she eats the biscuits before I get out the door.

Don't know if she'll like the brand I got. She's had the brand's treats before and it was $2 cheaper than the smallest bag of the brand I normally get her. But the prices on the bags of food! $35 for a 3-4 lb. bag. Some of the brands I expected it out of because their larger sizes are almost $80 which is why I don't buy them. Around $35 for a 30-lb bag of food is a little much to me but it's the cheapest in a brand I know which is why I keep getting it.

I am going to commit to reading every post in the community today as opposed to haphazardly glancing through.

I did not exactly make it. I did not realize how much time it takes to get through every response. And, I  did not take into account all of the emotion that goes into all of the post's.

What I like, is that most of the post's here get some type of acknowledgment. That goes a long way in helping people to be heard.

@caringShoulder1357 Yes! I do wish sometimes that there was a little more effort put in to some of the replies. Which probably sounds horrible on my part. It's just painful to see someone pour their heart out only to receive a thank you for sharing comment 😬

@mytwistedsoul I don't know about others but I take time to respond because I don't know exctly what to say. I did receive a "thank you for sharing" comment from someone in person not that long ago. Think I was talking about the old dog or cat. I was slightly affronted by it because it seemed slightly not insulting but that's the closest word I can think of at the moment--I don't know if it was from the tone used but it seemed to me that I shouldn't have said anything to begin with.

One reason why I don't actually talk. Most don't want to listen or only half listen, or tell you "thank you for sharing" which lacks sincerity and could be seen as a short way to dismiss someone/something that they could really care less about. A fairly polite brush-off I suppose.

In the end, that  type of response really doesn't help anything. At first, it may seem like the other party genuinely cared but it all boils down to the tone in which the response was given which is extremely difficult to ascertain on a forum because you have no visual or audible queues.

@Enthenia Yes! This exactly! Affronted is a good would for it. I'm sorry this happened to you too. I know it makes me feel like I shouldn't have said anything too. Like I should apologize for opening my mouth. It's disappointing and dismissive, I think so anyway. I might say it to thank someone for sharing a song or a recipe, some kind of information. I wouldn't say it to someone sharing something deep or personal.

Yes... and it may only be a moment, but, like you stated, "it's a good moment".

I like that thought. And the cool thing is, if we can do it once, then we can do it again. Good moments are precious. ☺️

thanks
