2026 Week #36 - Weekly Goal Sharing! (Monday 08/31/26 - Sunday 09/06/26)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

@enthenia
Hey, I read last week you continue to manage your bills and got the rent paid. You work so hard robbing from Peter to pay Paul. And you manage, but i hope you get a break this week with a big win somewhere.

I was also glad to read, that some of your pain supplements and gels were helping with your joint pains. That's good. Those pains take a lot of enegy from us. I know. I'm Glad you found something that helped a little.
Good luck this week.
@IsayUncle if I hadn't been able to get on the program that splits the rent up, I don't know how I would have managed. It really helped. Splitting it into two or even three payments throughout the month is better than one big chunk.
As for health, yes it helps. My eyes aren't as red as they had been before. None of the eye specialists ever commented about that which was surprising because they were always pretty red due to lack of sleep (most likely). I don't seem to shift as much in my sleep due to joints locking up.
Still waiting for the deposit from the closed account to hit. Double-checked it and it's still processing. Which is fine. Actually it says it's done on their end so I'm just waiting for my bank to show the deposit. At least this is going better than another account I tried closing. I did close it but then they kept the funds in the account. It was only about a hundred and it seemed to be too much trouble to press the issue (also didn't really know what department to go to) so I just left it.
@Enthenia
"I’m really glad to hear you got that rent split worked out. That takes a massive weight off your shoulders every month, and you deserve that breathing room. Getting better rest and seeing your eyes clear up proves your body was desperate for a break—take that as a real win.
Keep an eye on that transfer. And you know, down the road when your energy is up, don’t let that bank keep your hundred dollars. You worked hard for every dime, and that belongs in your pocket, not theirs. One step at a time, though. Give your pup an extra scratch behind the ears for me."
Have a good day today. 🙂
@IsayUncle yes it does help. It doesn't feel as though I'm constantly being drenched by a tsunami. It does make me slightly apprehensive though because I don't know if it signifies something bigger looming over the horizon that I haven't gotten to yet.
The dog is liking this cooling trend. She just has to get used to more traffic outside her door because it's getting cooler. But, she'll be able to watch children out in the courtyard. She likes lying in the doorway looking out across the patio. She's an observer.
Trying to get to a state of coherence again. I fell slightly asleep a little while ago. Had a couple of small things that I brought with me. Shouldn't have been too much for me to handle but I'm still waking up. Was going to do some surveys but the site I use is apparently down even though a website status tracker says it up. Tried accessing the website on my work computer but it won't connect either so something is definitely not working. Guess I'll check grocery ads while I wait. I may be alert enough to do some games in a few minutes.
They took the upstairs neighbor's van and I think they cleaned out the apartment today. Hopefully it wasn't too loud for the dog because she was in her crate since I had work. Had to clean up the remnants of a glass solar light that happened to be in the way of the dog wanting to tell the neighbor dog to back off. Looking at metal decor for the future. At least the dog didn't get hurt. I think it banged up against the railing. It was hollow with a thin strand of the solar lights inside. I was already looking at a larger light to put in one of the corners. That way there's light when it gets dark and it's not likely to get damaged.
Dog didn't fuss too much when I closed the patio door to keep her inside as I swept up the glass. She was also agitated because of the neighbor dog. If I can get something to cover that corner or block it that she can't break, it might help. But it has to be suitable for a patio even though there's lots of apartments who have things that shouldn't be on a patio. I just don't want to invite more trouble.
@Enthenia
Yea, a quiet a quiet stretch can feels a little funny aometime. Especially when we are always bracing for the next wave. try to take the win for a moment. Try to give yourself permission to just breathe and enjoy the dry ground today without looking for a storm over the horizon. You earned this breather.
I love hearing the pupis enjoying the cooler breeze and watching the courtyard from the doorway. Dogs are remarkably perceptive observers, (they love that.... that's cool! 😀 and having that calm routine is just as good for her as it is for you.
Good on you for handling the patio situation too.
Don't sweat the survey site being stubborn, either. it's pain!*&#$, but try to look through the grocery ads, play a game or two, and let your mind drift back into gear naturally. Take it one steady step at a time today,
@IsayUncle yes. Since she's a herder, observing is a big thing for her. It would be nice if she got along with her neighbor better because there really isn't another way for them to go into the courtyard and with the door to the patio being open, she's able to tell when the dog is coming down, much sooner than I can. All I can do is divert her attention once she gets worked up. Technically, I'm supposed to do it beforehand but it's hard when she knows the dog is out before I do.
I know you had other points you addressed and I read them but since then, I fell asleep because Zarquon knows why (obscure Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference) and I moved away from the page so I've forgotten what they were. Most likely I had something that I shouldn't have had at that particular point in time.
Got almost $9 on the survey app. Not many I can do right now so I'll check later. Most are about car ownership and since I don't have a car, I can't really answer questions about them. Gone back to the numbers game because I think the website where I started the offer finally got back to tracking so if I can get to level 300, I can get an extra dollar. I'm almost at $10 on that site and at $10 something on another so if I can get a few extra dollars together and transferred to my PayAmigo account, I'll be able to have bus fare as my current pass expires Sunday.

Huge congratulations, BT! A 91% on your health coaching certification is a massive achievement. Looking back at the last five years—your degree, this new credential, and managing a large, loving family—proves what true grit and commitment look like.
You should be deeply proud of yourself. Becoming a trainer for caregivers and parents is such a vital mission, and you bring genuine life experience to the table that no textbook can teach. Knock it out of the park with your first training this week!

CHAMPION! 💛
