I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.

But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.

To praise each other for our efforts and wins.

While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.

And to continue trying and not give up.

Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!

Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

Do Your Best and Get Your rest.
Things are can be harder than what we first think. That's OK, You can do it. It's normal. Do your best. Be kind to yourself and Be kind to others.

I wasn't ignoring this! I was trying to get what files copied that I could. One site is still down. Checked again this morning. Made a notation on the spreadsheets about the site being down but people aren't going to remember that a month later. All they'll remember is that I "failed" to get reports done in the prescribed time.

I think my goal last week was to survive the week. My goal this week is pretty much the same. Just try to get through it without too much incident.

@Enthenia

"I never thought for a second you were ignoring anything—I know how hard you've been working to dig out from under that mountain.

Putting that notation directly on the spreadsheet was the exact right professional move. You cannot control whether an external server is up or down, and a technical outage is not your personal failure. You did your part by documenting reality. If anyone asks a month from now, the record is in black and white.

"If they're looking to blame you for a server outage you didn't cause, they're going to do it whether you panic or not. You can't out-worry poor management, and running yourself into the ground won't buy their approval.

You noted the facts on the spreadsheet. That’s your job done. Do the files in front of you, punch out on time, and let the company’s bad systems be the company’s problem, not your identity."
