Thank you for the tag @Erato 💜

Oh boy, I don't think I've ever written what I'd like to do.

1. Go to a city in Ghana called 'Yendi' because c'mon who wouldn't go to a place with the same name as you!?
2. Write and publish a kids book
3. Travel to The Maldives
4. Visit Europe
5. Work on being comfortable with public speaking
6. Make myself into someone I want for myself
7. Go skiing/snowboarding/surfing/scuba diving
8. Read 100 books by the age of 30 (about 22 down)
9. Watch my younger siblings graduate from highschool then college
10. Visit Disneyland/world!! Fun fact, I was promised to go at 12 years old and well... running 8 years and still haven't been!

OK, here I go ... smiley Some of these are gonna be redundant, because I would like to like a happy and simple life. yesblush

1. Live a simple, happy life with true and honest friends to grow old with and always be living a life according to how God would want me to heart

2. Once retired from work, become more involved in church activities

3. Once retired from work ... get a cat, preferably a chill ragamuffin cat who would like to hang out with me and watch sports on TV with me in the evening or read a book

4. Organize more events with the MeetUp support groups that I'm already organizing

5. Go to a cat cafe ... I know there are some here in Chicago. Maybe I'll find the cat I'd like to adopt (see item #3) laugh

6. Keep visiting different restaurants and cafes in Chicago with my groups

7. Still be posting & chatting right here on 7 Cups yes My 1st year Cupsiversary will be coming up on August 1st ... hopefully, I'll be around to celebrate 50 years! laugh

8. Visit every secret gem coffeehouse in Chicago

9. Visit every "hole in the wall" secret gem of an Indian restaurant in every Chicago neighborhood that has one winklaugh

10. Last but certainly NOT least ... meet every one of my 7 Cups friends here in Chicago at the Sip of Hope coffeehouse (where all proceeds go to mental health education and awareness), beginning with my soul sister smileyblush

Thank you for the tag, @Erato! It's been nice having you as a listener!

I'm so scared of writing this, haha, because ... what if it doesn't happen? I don't want to be let down. I'm unsure if my expectations are realistic. I don't know who I am and what I want in life. Maybe I should be open to being surprised. Who do I even think I am? Should I rather just be happy with everything that comes my way and not expect too much? blah blah blah

Should I even take this list seriously? Should I work for these goals? but choosing some means not choosing others. How do I know this is what I want for life?

Why is this so hard? Just write. This is just an exercise, not a serious list, right? Is it a serious list?

1. Overcome attachment anxiety and have a deep, fulfilling, lasting relationship.

(This one MUST happen)

2. Be able to teach a good class that inspires students/ be a good speaker in general

3. Be able to write an article that informs or inspires readers/ be a good write in general

(these two sound more like short-term goal)

4. Learn to draw (I never thought of doing art in my entirely life, but I would like to do this as a tribute to my long-term listener)

5. Have and raise children (not sure why I feel the urge to write this)

6. Get better at responding to emails and texts (this is becoming like a short-term improvement list)

7. Always grow to be more efficient and productive and hard-working

8. Find my favorite way to contribute to the world (overlapped with the above goals)

9. Be in good physical health well into old age

10. Become a good cook! (although Im not sure if my hobbies will change)

11. Honorary mentions: still not sure if I should pick up these hobbies again: German, piano, and singing. I plan to keep improving my Latin and French for the rest of my life, but not sure if that will change. Also, finish reading through the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church?

Not sure if my bucket list is for life or it just reflects who I am right now.laugh

For my bucket list, I guess it'd be:

1. Walk the appalachian trail

2. Rescue elderly animals from shelters

3. Finish writing a book (maybe publish it?)

4. Learn to sing

5. Find a close/ forever friend

6. Read a full list of classic books

7. Find a true hobby that I don't feel pressured to do/ have

8. Have a fruit and flower garden

9. Go to Canada

10. Enjoy a vacation that has no stress or worry

I don't have anyone to tag, but anyone can borrow anything from my list if they would like.

@HP042 That's an awesome list! I always thought about the first one. And the second is just amazing! A nice home for all the senior animals.
