I don't want to accomplish anything any more, I just want it to end.
@tluper6491 hey dear. it sounds like you are really going through a tough time and i am sorry to hear that and it is okay to not have any goals at the moment!
please take good care of yourself and remember , you can always connect with a listener on here.
@AveryLove
I'm too scared to talk to listeners and I've been hurt so much socially I don't feel like I can ever open up to a new person again. And I'm a loser. It's not okay to have no goals, I'm wasting my pathetic joke of a life. It's okay to have no goals if you've accomplished something with your life, I'm a complete failure who has amounted to absolutely nothing in my life. So having no goals is just another valid reason to hate myself. I'm a loser and a failure and I always will be.
@tluper6491 Hey - it takes a lot of courage to say this stuff out loud. You're in a safe place here. No judgement no expectations. We're all here to help each other. Even if you don't want to go the listener route. We can talk in a forum. We're all here for you if you need us. I don't think you're a failure. You're just someone who's hurting.
@mytwistedsoul
I appreciate that, I do, but the only reason you don't think I'm a failure is because you don't know my life story. If you did I guarantee you would agree with me or even think worse of me than I think of myself.
@tluper6491 We often judge ourselves harsher than we deserve. We see ourselves in some of the worst light. I know - because I do it myself. Idk - I'd like to think I'm pretty open minded with other people though.
@mytwistedsoul
I really wish more people thought like you do. As it is due to disability, inability to work and drive, my serious emotional issues, etc. in society's eyes I'm a useless basket case and not worth anything. I don't blame anyone when I say this because I completely understand the reaction, but failing at online dating taught me that the first thing most people ask is "what do you do for a living?" "Oh nothing, I'm disabled" and I literally never hear another word from them again. Normal able-bodied human beings consider handicapped people to be useless burdens they don't need in their life. I can't work or drive so I'm useless and I'm trapped in a nowhere shithole farm town where I can't do anything and I don't know anybody so I have no life whatsoever. I'm just waiting to die at this point.
@tluper6491 I'm sorry that that's how people have made you feel - how society has made you feel. It's not right. Disabled or not - to me that doesn't detemine your value. The people who see you this way are the one's with the handicap.
I'm sure none of this is coming out the way that I intend it too. I trip over myself trying to explain things. (It always sounds better in my head) And of course typical Soul style - I have questions. Lol! Ask anyone who knows me. Some of them are always a little stupid but I honestly do mean well. You don't have to answer them of course and I won't go goofy asking a bunch of them.
First I guess - you said you live in a small farming town. Is there a library - that maybe you could join a book club? Or sometimes churches have members that help people get out and about to do things. Or are you home bound? I'm sorry - if I'm crossing any boundaries or anything. Just tell me to be quiet or mind my business. and I'll leave you be.
@mytwistedsoul
You haven't crossed any boundaries, I am a very private person but about the weirdest things. In another thread I wasn't even willing to say the name of my favorite band and just said something that rhymes with their name because I know your taste in music, movies, books, celebrities, etc. is one of the things people are most judgemental of and makes them think they know you and comfortably label you as this or that or disregard you entirely or look down on you. I don't do that but I also know I'm the weirdo with the awful taste to begin with and I really have no right to judge anyone for liking anything. But that's beside the point and I don't know why I'm still rambling on about it.
I don't know if we have a library in town, if we do I haven't been in many years, but it also really wouldn't surprise me if it was closed down due to lack of interest, poor funding, advancing technology, etc. like a lot of bookstores and all video stores. As for churches, this is where I get a little anxious because I know admitting this is going to make people hate me (and I know I deserve it and I'm an awful person for it) but I really honestly don't believe in any gods (I know, I'm a terrible person and I deserve to burn for eternity) and I can't see getting involved with something where I'm an outsider and enemy by default doing anything but making me feel even worse about myself. I am homebound because I can't drive and there's nothing within walking distance of my house except a dollar store and a high school. I've also become willingly agoraphobic because I hate the town I live in and every time I leave my house I'm in constant mortal fear of running into somebody I used to know and having to explain I'm exactly as much of a loser and failure as they and all our teachers said I would be. I also always wanted to be a dad and now I'm almost 30 and still a virgin so any time I find out someone I knew has kids now, or is married, or gainfully employed, or even in an abusive relationship I become extremely bitter, jealous and resentful. I hate myself for failing to even be a regular human being, 9-5, paying taxes, driving a car, I'm a failure at the very bare minimum of even existing on this planet.
@tluper6491 I don't think anyone's taste in music is weird. We listen to what speaks to us. There's so many different kinds of music roaming in my head. Just wow.
Ok - With religion - especially with me - you don't need to be anxious. Because me and god - we don't get along. So I don't hate you for how you feel towards any religion. I'm certainly nt going to judge you for it. If some people find strength in that faith - great. If when I die I find out there is a higher power - well - that where forgiveness will have to come in. Although I guess it would be a little like walking into the enemy camp. I think I may be a little afraid I might burst into flames.
Um - I gotta say - That anxiety that Keeps you home - sucks. I go out to therapy - grab stuff at the store and that's it. I'm happy at home - away from everyone. People make me so freaking nervous. I used to have the hardest time even just coming here - well I still have days where anxiety say Nope not today.
Uh relationships - Well um - me too or not yet. Boy but I'd like to - ya know? Kids - I like kids but they make me nervous. I worry about what kind of parent I'd be. Idk - there's time yet ya know? I mean I'm sure it doesn't feel that way.
Dang - I feel like I'm writting you a book. You're not a failure man - it just feels that way because you're not where you want to be. I'm sorry - I wish I had something better to tell you. I do get some good idea's occassionally so maybe if I do - um - would you mind if I'd tag you and share them? If you'd rather not - that's cool too. I understand you must be really frustrated and p*ssed at the world - I understand the self hatred. I really wish I had more to give you.
Be gentle with yourself and your thoughts.
I initially thought had a bucketlist. Ended up more of a to-do list.
So. I'll re-write it for now. Until things are clearer.
1. I want this to end.
This -> Refers to my current lifestyle, mentality, phyiscally -> (TLDR - Life)
Whether if there is a restart, I don't care anymore.
2. to 10. Nevermind. I think if number 1 is fixed. The rest will flow.
@mytwistedsoul
Thanks for tagging. I haven't been reading around much.
@mikenai22 it sounds like you really want some change in your life! change is awesome and important for growth
@AveryLove
I wished.
I couldn't.
It's been two years.
@mikenai22 You're welcome Mike !
@mytwistedsoul
realised i never replied.
Still feeling very puzzled, trying to question what do i truly want, what do i want to achieve. What the heck is going on.
Seeing everyone's having something in mind, well alittle traumatising to feel out of place. Yet everyone's timing is different, so yea...
@mikenai22 Hey - I think it's ok that you aren't sure of what it is you want. I mean everything takes time. I wouldn't stress too much about it. You'll find your way.
@mytwistedsoul
i understand about the timing thing.
its just that i felt that its been too long.
and could be also due to me trying to put things off.
@mikenai22 I can understand that feeling - perhaps you're putting things off because you're trying to deal with other more pressing matters. Like health wise. It's hard to plan for the future when you're unsure about the present.
@mytwistedsoul
perhaps so. but it could be also me "thinking" that I have too much on my plate.
trying to fix, decide, do things right, do everything by myself, etc.
not sure.. but well. since it is what it is now. shall hold on. if i can remember.

@Dawn04 any idea for the tattoo yet? what would you like it to look like?
@AveryLove Actually yes, I have wanted the same tattoo since I was 12/13 years old....I'm now 33. You know that little bud on your ankle that sticks out....have a rose vine come out and circle around my ankle and end with a beautiful red rose, leaves and thorns and all. I like the idea since I could show it off when I wanted, but easily cover it with socks and/or pants.
