I am proud of myself because I was the only one that believed in myself

I got myself out of a awful relationship. He would say and do horrible things and I never had the courage to stand up to him. He told me I wouldn't be able to finish my degree because I was stupid and that I can't even read and write properly. One day, he hit me and then I left. I was with some friends for awhile. They Stayed up with me when I needed someone, theywere there for me. Today I saw that prick and it reminded me of what he said to me. He said I couldn't finish university and I was stupid. Mate, I finished university with a degree, completed a English course andI am doing what I can to become a teacher. I hope this year,I can start my teacher training. Got a job to get me by aswel.I am proud of myself for what I have achieved and proved him wrong !
