I did stuff!

I joined 7Cups depressed and lonely. I didn't care about myself. I hated who I am. I despised every aspect of my life and considered the people in it as nuisances.

I can't say that I'm fully healed or that I've mastered control over my life. But what I can say is that, right now in this moment, I am smiling. I am genuinely smiling and I feel happy. I've only been on 7Cups for a little over a week and I figured out how I can take control of my mind once negative thoughts pop in it (I like watching the cute animal videos - my favorite ones are the Little Duckling and Goats in Pyjamas videos <3).

I'm certain that I'll have many relapses, and I'm certain that dark times are ahead. But I want this post to be a reminder to myself that at some point, I managed to smile and feel happy. I may still be battling depression, and I may not have someone in my life who I'm comfortable enough to talk to about my problems with, but I'm smiling,

~~~And I got a life to live!~~~
I'm going to end this post by quoting the famous words of Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory who happened to be quoting Spock from Star Trek, "Live Long and Prosper!".
Cheers,
~Lantern~
I am ever so glad to hear that you are feeling better than you have been! You owe yourself the lion's share of the credit. 7 Cups may have helped you stock up your emotional toolbox, but you're the one doing all the hammering and soul rennovation. Good luck as you keep moving forward. And, of course, if your tool supply runs low, c'mon back for a few more. Now, where'd I put that screwdriver...?
Good luck to ya!
Its really great to hear you being so happy! And what I love about this post is, you are very much in reality about your feelings, which is just brilliant because it means you can recognise your emotions and do your best to deal with them!
Good luck 🙂
Wohooo! That's a lot.
It's amazing. I'm so happy to hear you were able to use 7Cups to your benefit and that you are now seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Way to go, you really inspired me today! I know I felt very well after using it for a few days myself as a Member so I totally encourage people to stay on track!
