A place to share this months goals and share how they are going. In my experience it is often easier to meet goals that follow the SMART framework ... for more information on what is the SMART framework, you can check out this post.

Encouraged format of sharing goal including example :

This months goal will be to have a more healthy routine by end of the month.

Week one - Get up at least one day setting alarm for 9 am get washed & dressed ensuring that I Eat 3 meals a day everyday

Week two - Get up at least 3 days setting alarm for 9am , get wash & dressed. Sticking to 3 meals a day. Also do at least one excercise task iin the week. (walk the dog or housework / garden)

Week three - Set alarm for 9 am everyday but one day for rest day. Get washed & dressed , sticking to to the 3 meals a day. Try do at least 3 tasks during that week. (exercise, meet a friend, housework etc)

Week four - as above however trying to complete a task everyday but a day of rest where on that day the task will be something for me to enjoy or relax.

Progress report on today's goal (painting skeletons on all small figures) : Unexpected shopping trip today. Depending on how the rest of the day goes, I still think completing my goal is possible, especially after getting the two sheep dogs done as they're the most difficult. The rest are so little it shouldnt take long on them. I finished the first sheep dogs skeleton, and it took about an hour. The 2nd I think should be the same if not less, since I know what to expect this time. Even if I don't get my goal done today, at least I've made progress.

Supper Time Progress Report for today's goal (painting skeletons on all small figures):

The two sheep dogs are done. I decided on a day/night theme for them. It's a relief because I knew those two would be the most difficult to complete. I also finished the little Schnauzer who is getting the plaid treatment. Next is one of the little labs - he's really cute because he's in pose that looks like hes stretching, and hes winking. After supper my boyfriend and I are going to walk the dog and after that, I don't know if my goal will be completed today but I'll definitely get a lot done.

Get my life organized one step at a time, starting with school and ending with small things like my clothes and hair

I think I'm going to call it a night. I didn't reach my goal today but I got a lot done, and I have all day tomorrow to catch up. But for now I just feel like putting on PJ's , snuggling up to my boyfriend and watching a movie.

My goal for this month is to get my bedroom the way I want it while studying for this online class and cooking for myself. I've been working on this goal last month but didn't start class until two weeks ago. So far, I'm progressing well, but I need to finish up everything for my room, like make my pom pom anthropology look-alike curtains, a bean bag as my reading spot, organizing my closet with hobbies, sorting through my whole wardrobe, etc. The DIY projects I've never done so it'll be challenging as I've got to keep up with weekly discussion board posts & two mini projects for class. So far, so good, but cross your fingers and wish me luck.

My goals for September include not letting my relationship go back to the way it was, gradually exercising more and getting into a routine, reaching out to the friends and family who I pushed away, and setting good habits for myself as my freshman year of college starts.

I want to get back into a workout routine to become healthier. I also want to write at least once a week in my journal to learn how to get my thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc. out because it's very therapeutic. Finally I want to find a part time job to help pay for bills while I'm in school.

Okay, goals! goals! I have so many but I will focus on just one: changing my sleep pattern! (which is currently messed up)

Week 1: Go to sleep not later than 1:30 AM, have no more than 1 hour nap.

Week 2: Go to sleep not later than 1:00 AM, have no more than 45 minute nap.

Week 3: Go to sleep not later than 12:30 AM, have no more than half an hour nap.

Week 4: Go to sleep not later than 12:00 AM, no more than half an hour nap or no naps!

I'm currently going to sleep at around 2:00 AM and napping for around 1-2 hours, so let's see how this turns out!

So @cheeney if you see me online after then, throw me pineapples.

@Chocolatewithalmonds I like that you broke down the goals to be managableneach night. I love this idea. Sleep has always been a struggle, so you'll have a buddy in this process.

My goals are to:

Lose at least 10 pounds / improve my diet

Get a paying job / learn how to properly drive

Deal with my problems in a less passive-aggressive way / learn how to let things go

Improve my social interactions

Practice Buddhism more faithfully

I don't necessarily have to get these all done this month, but I want to make progress on all of them.

@KuroYouri

Wow, there's a lot you want to make progress on but all of these goals are very great as they make you to the person that you want to be! I'm proud of you to see that you're so dedicated to work towards that! :)

Losing 10 pounds and improving your diet kind of go hand in hand but I know that this isn't quite an easy thing to do. I hope you can make it, I believe in you!

Getting a paying job and learning how to properly drive can make you move forward in life in the direction you want to move speaking from a financial and vocational way. I hope it works out the way you want it to! Do you already have a job in mind that you'd want to get?

Learning how to deal with problems and how to let things go might be a really tough but very rewarding thing to do! How could you possibly reach both of these things?

Wow, practicing Buddhism can be a really calming thing to learn! I hope it'll work out like you want it to work :)

@Morganic94 I've tried it once or twice .. I'm not sure if I should ride when it's less traffic on the street or when it's really busy in the morning ? I like when it's day break I just gotta push myself 😩
