Weekly sharing of Goals! Week #27 2024 (Monday 07/01/24 - Sunday 07/07/24)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!

I signed up for a group camping trip with strangers. My goal is to make an effort to be social and enjoy the company. I live mostly isolated and don't socialize much so this is my attempt to combine doing what I like with other people.

That's a wonderful step signing up for an event like that. I think nature is one of the best places in the world to reduce anxiety and really find space for yourself when being around people is a little bit too much but not completely. You're really smart setting that up. Make sure you go when the time comes because it will be really really nice for you enjoy some nature and conversations as they arise and if it feels good.

Wednesday 8:50AM:
That was a great push getting my receipts completed before 10:00 AM
I finished sorting, logging and filing all my receipts.
I would say that's about 50% and the hardest part of all the paperwork that I have to do.
The best part of the whole thing was getting started and getting enough done that it is no longer overwhelming and it will be doable to finish 100% in a day or so.
A reminder.... Sometimes we have to fight hard to get started.

@IsayUncle Hey Uncle :) Just been sort of busy - sort of not lol. It's been unbelievably hot and humid. Doing a lot of gardening and some pressure washing. Living in the woods some spots on the house don't get the sunlight and things start to green up . Stuff still isn't finished up with the lawyer - impatiently waiting for him to figure out the inheritance taxes. I still don't understand why we have to pay taxes on things so many times!

@IsayUncle thanks! But I'm not sure about the next assignment. I'm supposed to pick a development method. I've had an overview of them in another class but I don't really get the mechanics of it. At this point, I just want to get through this class and move on to the next one.

I Took today off work finish my paperwork using the 4th of July as an excuse. Stupid me left my work folder in the dump truck that's at the job which is one hour away. To go get it will take two hours out of my day.
I can do a good bit of work without it but I cannot get that 100% completion that I'm hoping for today.
...................................................................... I've been staring at the screen for 5 minutes wondering what receipts and paperwork might be in my work folder that i'll need. I just need to go get it..... now ....... What a *** way to start today! ☹️
