I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.

But more importantly, talk about getting it done or why it didn't happen today.

To praise each other for our efforts and wins.

While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.

And to continue trying and not give up.

Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!

Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

A NEW WEEK πŸ˜€.

I wish I could say it is a new week with a blank slate but for most of us that's just not true. We have days weeks or years of residue obligations that we wish to complete. These things wear on our brains and exhaust our bodies for thinking about all that which is left undone.

If we dwell on all that is undone we will waste precious time towards doing what needs to be done today. What needs to be done this week. This is a new fresh week. Do not burden your brain and stress your body by thinking about everything else. Pick a project this week or several small steps and start on those today. Continue working on those this week and see how you do.

A NEW WEEK πŸ˜€. Ready, Set, Go!

I don't know why this post didn't show up in the forum. I couldn't find it when I came back to it I had to do a search for week 37 and it finally popped up. I forgot to tag you guys on this new week.

I hope you all are doing well.

My backhoe broke again. I'm just going to wing it this week. I'm gonna try to post some pictures to the project I've been working on. I just can't get to that stopping point and I'm tired of messing about on it. I gotta take a break from it and get my house and personal tasks done. Anyway, hopefully these pictures come out.

The order of progress is like a "Z" starting with the top left.

Four days of no direction felt good for a while but things are starting to get out of control so I guess it's time to get back to my To Do List.

I'm gonna try a 20 minute dash routine for this evening.

20 minute dash = clean kitchen - package and freeze chili.

20 minute dash = Change one dog bedding - package and freeze meatloaf dinners

20 minute dash = Change other dog bedding - sort laundry and start one load.

@IsayUncle

I finally get to sit in front of the laptop and type....My week has been go, go, go....I'm thankful for this coffee time this morning where I can catch up on 7cups. I have been on here basically scrolling and upvoting posts on my phone with the occasional "short" answer fat finger swipe and Its been driving me crazy not being able to sit and actually type out things on this site this week....I think I'm addicted to visiting 7 cups the way some people are addicted to some of the other social media sites lol....anyway.....

Today is my day off, and payday, so I plan to get my bills paid and accounts balanced. I managed to get in at least 30 min of some sort of exercise each day so far this week....I'm happy with that... I plan to get in a bike ride, not sure if I'm going road or spin but I will do some mileage. We have an away soccer game at 4pm and its an hour 20 min drive so I'll be leaving about 2:15 so I have plenty of time to get there before they start. Tomorrow is pretty much open as of right now. I will do a spin class at 8am, go to recycling center, and get my lawn mowed. After that its basically a free day. The temperature is starting to drop at night so hopefully my lawn mows will be done in a couple of weeks. With the cooler temps comes the reminder that I need to continue to work on getting things ready for winter so I will continue to make room in the garage and basement to put my summer things(outdoor furniture, deco, and that sort of fun stuff). Its amazing the amount of "stuff" I have acquired this summer and don't really have a "place" for, if you know what I mean.

I hope you get all your 20 minute dash things done. I like that idea.....I may have to try to incorporate it into my routines.....

Anyone else out there reading and lurking....I hope you accomplish all your goals for this week.

Have a wonderful Friday and an awesome weekend......

LOl... Be careful, they actually have self help groups here for people that are addicted to seven cups and spend all their time here. But I know what you mean, it's been a good place for me to come and get my head sorted a lot too.

That's great you were able to keep up with your 30 minute routine everyday and go to soccer practice too. That's awesome man good job!

I've pretty much let myself fall close to the edge of dismal distress. Eating a lot of comfort foods, some junk foods but definitely no greens or healthy foods and so I know that's got me in a very lazy place. I'm also very frustrated that I don't have things finished up. I have four big projects they're all tied together and so I'm jumping from one to the other to the other and none of them are getting completed and I'm getting tired of trying.

My 20 minute dashes are just my way of grasping at straws to keep going. Usually a 20 minute dash can take me two hours. But the way I think about it is that the 20 minute dash is just to get me started and then if I just can keep sprinting to the end I can get that chore done. I'll probably be forcing myself into 20 minute dashes all weekend just to try to be at a good starting point on Monday. I'm really getting tired of working so hard just to get to a good starting point all the time.

I think you're a bit more disciplined and organized than me. If you're already thinking about putting away your summer stuff for the winter, I know you are because I'm just wishing I got my spring and summer stuff out so I was able to use it! LOL. πŸ˜‚ I didn't have to worry about any yard work this year because I decided to let the the forest take over so I can live in the woods (LOl again!)🀣

@CyclingThroughLife

Thanks, I hope you have a great Saturday too. You keep cycling, I'll keep dashing and maybe we can both finish up this week in good fashion!πŸ˜€.

You start your week tomorrow so I do hope you have a really good day today. I actually think I will get all my little bits done before Monday so I can start off with a fresh start but I'm not really sure what direction I'm gonna go just yet.

My End of Day Push.....

Sort and empty recyclables / Empty trash / Vacuum and sweep floors / Clean kitchen.

None of these things are very hard or monumental. Frame of mind and the reward of a GRRrrreeeat start tomorrow is my zone of peaceful diligence this evening! πŸ€ͺ

PERSEVERANCE, FOCUS AND DISCIPLINE
(for 2 hours... heck ya!)

SUNDAY MORNING: What I get completed today will set the tone for the start of a fresh week tomorrow.

It has been a hard mental struggle this week. I haven't set any substantial goals for the week but I did wanna get my personal world in order. I felt like I wasn't gonna be able to do that but today it looks possible. All I have left to do is vacuum and sweep my floors, which won't take too much time. The biggie is to sort all my receipts and get all my paperwork filed.

If I get my floors cleaned and all my paperwork done, Monday will truly be a fresh week for me and then I can focus on my bigger plans and aspirations with a refreshed and motivated energy.

Today I will do a Sunday Afternoon Report and a Sunday Evening Report just to track my progress and as a tool to encourage commitment and accountability.

I'm starting this morning off with getting all my floors cleaned.

I end week 37 in pretty good shape. My paperwork was much further behind than I had anticipated. I usually keep my paperwork up to date on a weekly basis or a biweekly basis. I was 2 1/2 months behind schedule.

With that said, I did spend all day on my paperwork and did not finish it. But the hard part is done as far as sorting and organizing it and I got about half of it logged and filed.

All my other personal tasks are 100% done which means I start week #38 in a very good place. My paperwork is no longer daunting and overwhelming so I'll be able to finish that up relatively soon and I have no house chores hanging over my head to do. (other than daily maintenance).

I hope everyone had a good week this week and can start fresh or keep up a good momentum for week #38.

@IsayUncle

I'm glad the week ended up well for you.

Did you start a new post for the new week? Here it is Tuesday and I can't find it. My week has been hectic....started with two busy days at work Sunday and Monday...Today was a little better....but I've been battling migraine since Sunday also....its been rainy and the weather plays a big part in my headaches.....I'm doing what is required at home and then just enough to get by....Due to the headaches I haven't worked out since Saturday, but that is ok....I go through these spells when I'm fighting with my migraines....I'll be ok and get through...I always do.....Anyway....I hope the week started well for everyone else following along....
