What happens when you find out that the disease you were born with was a result of your mother and father’s neglect during pregnancy just because you were female?! The truth is that my mother didn’t do any tests during her pregnancy with me and didn’t really care about the fetus because I was female?! As a result, I was born with cataracts, and as a result of her neglect of me when I was born, it turned into chronic glaucoma for life. I can’t accept this even if they are kind to me now! I can’t get over the fact that my healthy life, which was the reason for my entire life being hindered, was due to my mother’s anger and resentment about the gender of her fetus for nine months! What is my fault that I suffer from this disease all my life?! And that she sometimes taunts me for this disease that she caused!! I can’t express how much bullying I received when I was a child who didn’t understand anything

@Lillymni

It's very difficult, we expect parents to do right by us all the time.

Sadly, this doesn't always happen.

I hope in time you heal and are able to process these difficult feelings and your eyes can be healed 💕💜

@Lillymni

It is NOT your fault at all, because nobody can choose their gender. And it's okay to feel angry or bitter to your parents, you're only human and it's normal to feel that way. and it's okay too if you can't accept it yet. I am a girl and someone with chronic illness myself and i can understand how hard it is to be chronically ill and to face unfair treatment as a girl.  I've felt a similar kind of anger as you've felt too. I also wondered about why i had to be sick too...but honestly being angry won't solve anything, that's why i just tried to come to terms with my condition. And i hope one day you can be able to come to terms with your condition too
