Be the parent you wanted.
Be the parent that your parents weren't to you! Whatever you felt like you needed in your parents when you were a kid, be those missing parts today, be the missing parts of your parents to your child, become the better version of them, not to defeat them or prove them but to show to your children that you really care and you are the unique parent which cares just about enough and exactly when needed!
@ThatDoraemon This is beautiful advice, thank you for sharing. I think you can even take this further than parenting children to parenting yourself and giving yourself what your parents didn't provide you.
@ThatDoraemon
Thank you for the encouraging words about parenting. Parenting is a privilege that teaches us so many important lessons, such as how to be patient and considerate. One of the best things I’ve learned is the importance of listening. When we take the time to sit down and listen, our children reveal so much about themselves, our lives, and how we are shaping their development into the people they will become. One of the beautiful gifts I am thankful for every day is being a parent.
