Me and my girlfriend are gonna try for a baby in the next week but im really scared and nervous and excited to be a dad but like i dont know how to actually feel. Any advice for a first time dad would be much appreciated.

I’d like to say that you’re on the right track by trying to get your act together and prepare. But you’ll have about 9 months to get ready. The most important thing is not to think there’s ever a perfect moment. Nothing is perfect. It’s a process. Just do what you can. Support your girlfriend, think about the baby’s name, the nursery, and lots of practical details. But don’t overthink it. That often comes later. Understanding and awareness
