Night time

I hate night time. I'm usually up with my 5 year old for 2-4 hours every night because he has trouble sleeping. I get so tired since I spend 16 hours a day with my kids and then up at night also. It gets lonely everyday having no one to talk to since my husband is always working and I only have two friends I talk to and my mom.

@skyraven02 hey, nice to meet you. Sorry to hear about your child's sleeping  difficulties. Maybe chatting about it might help?

What have you tried?

This is what I have tried for my son who was the same.

What time do they wake? Maybe keep a diary, is food causing the problem. Is the heating coming on. Is next doors cat coming home and making a noise.

First rule out everything. Physical and mental triggers and causes then what is left look at closely.

What do you get now?

@MistyMagic

He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and we are waiting for evaluations for autism. he wake up between midnight and 5 AM every day, but we have him on some stuff to help him sleep so it’s working some night.

@skyraven02 I hope you get a diagnosis soon, it can be so tiring and stressful for everyone when sleep is lacking.

Keeping a diary will help to show the consultant what is happening too.

@skyraven02 Spend time asleep. I think naps are awesome.
