I’m 17 with an IUD and in a relationship. Recently I’ve been gaining weight at a rapid pace, and I’ve been spotting as well as cramping for a bit now. I’ve always been super athletic and have never gained weight like this before, and I don’t usually get periods anymore.
I know the IUD is 99% effective but I just can’t shake this feeling that something is different.
Do I sound pregnant?

It's hard to know the answer to that, it's important you see a doctor to confirm one way or another 💛

@modestFig8996 I know it's scary, but it's very important to have an answer as soon as possible, so you can either be at peace or start figuring out solutions as soon as possible.
If you don't feel like seeing a doctor about it yet, you can try a pregnancy test first. An IUD is usually very safe and there might be other reasons for your symptoms, but if this worry is taking its toll on your well-being it's important to rule it out as soon as possible so you can finally take a breath.
