@Tinywhisper11 Yay! You're back! I'm so glad you feel better! Somehow my phone didn't notify me about this chat. I'm Unfortunately I had a miscarriage back in November, but there's a chance I will be pregnant again very soon! I could be pregnant right now, in fact.
I'm doing well. Lewis now opens his door, so he thinks it's hilarious to escape his room during time outs. Maybe he doesn't anymore, since yesterday he turned a 2-minute time out into a 45+ minute time out because he kept trying to escape. At each attempt he had one minute added. Eventually I had to stop adding minutes and just hold his door closed while I ate my dinner.
I'm also getting used to Lewis not always sleeping when I think he's supposed to sleep. It's stressful when I don't get to follow a set schedule, but I'm learning to be more flexible. It might help that my husband and I are cutting back on TV watching. We're trying to set a calmer end of day routine. Screens are just too stimulating.
@easyScarf7950 I'm so sorry about your miscarriage😥😥 that's really sad 😢 Lewis is a clever kid stuck in his terrible twos🙂 when he starts nursery/kindergarten you'll be able to set a better sleep routine💖 being a mother is not easy bless you. But your doing amazing you should be very proud of yourself 💖 hugs you tightly 💖

Whaaat, there's chocolate smarties? Smarties here are sweet. Almost chalky, not quite. They have just enough tartness to balance it out

I'm ok, mostly. I don't like seeing Nessa and Akira this sad. I come in and mourn with them, and that seems to help a little. Trying to cheer them up has had mixed results. Yesterday might be the first day in Nessa's life that she hasn't had Sweets around. They're about 4 years old.

I love you too 😊❤️ and thank you. I'm doing all I can for them. They love their new nightlight and asmr. Last night, I took Nessa out, and was having a really good conversation with her, and she started loudly sniffing... I thought it was my shampoo or something, but I forgot that I had their old laundry next to that chair, so she could smell her sister... So, she jumped straight into it and made it fall over, and I had to rescue her and let it fall, and she got really emotional over Sweets' blanket and wouldn't calm down. I came back in ten minutes to try to apologize and bribe her, and she actually gave me my intro (just like I sing for them when I come in sometimes, she'll kinda do it for me), and she ran to the front of the cage and stood up for attention. So, there have been some really rough and really good moments.
