On that subject, I've eaten good this week. Yesterday, I went to this restaurant and tried these tacos that had grilled chicken and chorizo crumbles... Add some salsa verde and cotija cheese, and mmmmm. 😋 Dinner was homemade chicken salad with strawberries and raspberries. It was surprisingly good.
And today's lunch was sushi. I tried a high class sushi roll for cheap, and it was okay. I tried conch sushi, which is sea slug. Kinda tasted like a clam, but with a hint of a carrot-like flavor? And I tried red clam, which was pretty good. Also had to have eel. Eel is the greatest tasting thing ever.
And then we explored a little antique mall, that has a main part, and several building-sized parts of "other vendors" and "other other vendors" with an increasingly weird/confusing/creepy layout. And the bathrooms had an even weirder and creepier layout. I took a video of it, and I wish I could share it here so that you know what I mean. 😅

There are signs that are like "more vendors - this way!". And from there, another whole huge area that says something lkke "other vendors - this way!" Beyond that, there's even more, but there's these super creepy halls. First, there's a weird little partition maze with signs that say "employees only! Smile, you're on camera!", then, there's these small rooms with really old depressing antique stuff that are super cold and feel weird to be in... Then there's this hall that goes to the left and right, with random especially boring pictures along the walls, and neither direction leads anywhere but to a bunch of locked doors that say "employees only! Smile, you're on camera!" And then there's this really weird layout area with bathrooms, and the men's room was really creepy... The stalls are totally see through with slanted saloon doors, there's a urinal in the back that has super cramped walls so that you can't even fit to use it unless you're think enough. Then there's showers to the right in a really dark hallway, and they look increasingly gross as you keep going. Then a little door leads you back to the main area, starting with a nice little cafe that's never open. 😅. Weird place.

It's a weird, creepy genre of video game, where you go and investigate endless hallways, looking for anomalies. It's easy to get lost, and there are monsters.

I'm saying! I have a weird feeling that I should try to get there super early and order something at that cafe.
Honestly a lot of antique places like that kinda seem like video game dungeons. There's this really fun sense of exploration to it. At least until all the dust starts getting to my eyes
Man, I am so weepy tonight! 😭 I just love my boy and my man so much LOL I couldn't handle reading to Lewis before bed, so I made his daddy do it.
Also, Lewis isn't even 2 yet and he just started using his toddler toilet like a pro!
My pregnancy hormones are making me overflow with emotion
I think it's also a sign of being the best and most caring kind of mother. 😊

How are you all doing?
I'm so tired and angry right now. Someone got my dog high. I don't know who, and I don't know how .. I know she ate something on the ground when I was walking her though. She's been flinching, wobbly, whimpering and looking around at things that aren't there, and dribbling pee. Had to take her to the emergency vet, we were worried it was anything from an injury to a stroke.
Poor doggy. I'm glad she's doing ok. That must have been scary.
Thanks, and it definitely was. 😅 She was peaceful in her cage overnight though. I'll see how she's really doing on my lunch break

I'll see her soon, but I got word that she's no longer flinching, and is in fairly good relaxed spirits. She still can't balance or walk so well though.

Saw her for a little bit. ❤️ Put her back to bed in the crate for now. She was hyper and lucid, but definitely didn't have her coordination back very well yet.

That stage better end soon... She's had three accidents in the house... She at least tried to make it to her mat for one of them

She's ok. She's resting in her cage with her blankets and pillow, a shirt that smells like me, and her Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. It was most definitely a marijuana edible that she ate from somewhere. I thought I heard her pick something up on our walk, but when I looked I didn't see anything.
I've had an experience with an edible, and I can't imagine how bad it is for her. When it happened to me, I physically couldn't stop talking, there was a sour taste in my mouth that nothing could get rid of, and I was having trouble convincing myself that the oxygen wasn't draining out of the room.
Maybe let her walk ahead of you (or heel) so you can watch her next time?
Wow. I now have much more reason to never try those. (Never ever wanted to. Lol)
I had one once. It made me sleepy, and then when I went to bed I couldn't sleep because I was unpleasantly tingly all over.
It's hard to make her heel or walk anywhere in particular. She's fairly big and she's all over the place. I can keep her away from stuff if I know it's there, but I can't always know in time.
Anyhow, yeah, they have a lot of weird effects. I think it's recommended to start really small with less than 50mg... I thought I took 30. It was actually 400.

Man, I wish Lewis could take a nap after he poops. He couldn't start his nap today because he was waiting on a poop, and then he finally pooped several minutes later and for the past half hour or so he's been trying to get me to release him from his room. I will give him 5 more minutes. He might be calming down.
Naptime/sleep issues seem like some of the hardest ones in parenting. At least to me.
I feel the poop thing. “WHY CANT I POOP???” Lol

Lol, ah, I gotcha. 😁 I'ma set up a vantage spot overlooking the newspaper stands and set traps there. Guys named Bob usually read newspapers. Though, once I saw a guy named Bob do a backflip off of a fire hydrant, so sometimes they can be deceiving.
He's also turning 2 in 12 days! He's learning so much that it's probably very exciting to him. He's practicing words and is easing into potty training.
