Lewis now sleeps on his bedroom floor after throwing the biggest tantrums at bedtime and nap time! I now have to check on him at night to make sure he's warm enough. He woke up at 5:30 this morning with cold legs!
And now he is having a full-blown meltdown an hour after he had his first long nap in days. Poor guy is sleep deprived.
Put a blanket on the floor. Then put a blanket over him when you find him asleep lol. Is he old enough to sleep with blankets?
Yes. I have 4 blankets on his bed. I can move one to the floor
He apparently prefers the floor, so maybe that’s a good idea lol
No, he just wears himself out to the point that he has no energy left to climb into bed.

I was staying with friends and the bathroom is occupied. Any idea why girls need to take 5 hour baths? 😅 That was a regular occurrence there... Peeing outside was a convenience... If I had to poop, I had to drive to the pharmacy 8 minutes away...

Every single day. I think it lasted anywhere from 3-7 hours. She'd be watching Downton Abbey in there and her husband usually joined. Like... I have no idea. That's gotta be so, so bad for their skin. I haven't seen them in years at this point.

Merry Christmas! It's still Christmas at my house. 🎄
My husband surprised me with beautiful Christmas curtains on the 23rd. We were about to drive away to my grandparents' house when he ran back inside to use the bathroom. When we got home, our living room had curtains! Our windows have been naked for a long time, so now our living room looks cheery and cozy.
Christmas Eve we streamed our church's Christmas Eve service. At the end, our pastor prayed for Christmas miracles for everyone in attendance. A little later, at about 8:30pm, our power went out during a crazy wind storm. My husband drove down our road to investigate, and he found a down wire that caused a fire about 6ft tall. He went home and called to report it, then went back to monitor the fire. By the time firefighters arrived, the rain had quenched it! 🙌 I think that counts as miracle.
Thankfully we had a relaxing Christmas the next day 😅

I don't remember! I went for a short walk with Lewis... I think we read books? My power was out yesterday, so I didn't do much. We have a generator that powered just the most important things, like the refrigerator, some lamps, the router, and the TV. The power was restored this afternoon.
Yay! I’m glad it came back on. We have flashlights and lanterns just in case. Our power goes out all the time during bad weather lol
