They had to rush my husband to the ER from rehab, and he is having trouble breathing, and his heart rate keeps dropping. I have been at the hospital since 3 am. I have to go to the doctor today and would like everyone to keep us in their prayers. Oh, yesterday when I came home some body busted a big hole in my fence from the outer side of my pool. Hate crimes continue, but I refuse to move from my home, and there seems to be no justice for what they do. Why can't people treat each other right?. I live in a very secluded area, but it is only two black families out here, and they keep doing things to get us to move. God blessed us with this home, and I promised Him I would be a good steward over it, so I'm not trying to let the devil run me away.

And on top of it you're being harassed by your neighbors? 😕 Be safe. Be gentle with yourself and try to rest when you can. I wish there was more we could do to help. (Sending big hugs and lots of love ❤️)

my daughter, I, and the doctor sang Happy Birthday to him, and I bought a large cupcake and put 77 on it, and we lit the candles and sang. No one else showed up. I bought him pj and a stuffed dog. I brought treats for the whole staff.
@WorkingitThrough2 I know it hurts when people don’t show up<3 But sometimes even one person showing up makes all the difference, and right now you are that person<3 And honestly you've always been that person<3 You’ve been there, holding things together, quietly carrying so much for everyone. I know it’s exhausting and maybe it feels like no one notices but we see you. They put him in Intensive care yesterday. He is not breathing well, and his afib is out of control; his heart rate is all over the place. They have specific hours that I can go now, so he is by himself and afraid, and feels like he will not make it out.
As hard as this is being, I can not help but feel love and compassion for him. I feel helpless because all I can do is be there for him. I question my motives if I am real or fake, but despite how he has treated me, I believe I am true to who I am as a person in this regard. But they say my right thinking is messed up, so maybe they were right, I don't know.

@WorkingitThrough2 You and he have been together a long time. You are very real ❤️ I know he has done things that have upset you in the past. I know he has treated you badly and you have stood by him through it all and you're standing with him now. That is realness ❤️
@WorkingitThrough2 you've been with him for a long time, even if it wasn't good you've been through alot together so of course you love him, that's not you being fake, that's very real💖 and watching him go through this is gonna bring up alot of emotions and feelings🙁 I can't imagine how heartbreaking this whole thing must be for you. And your not helpless even if you think you are, you've been by his side you've put his health and wellbeing above yours, you've prayed and cried, you have been his rock and that's more than anyone could ever possibly do 💖 your the reason he's still fighting💖 hugs you tightly 💗 we are all here for you 💗

Hi Twist. Been wondering how you’ve been lately. I don’t think I’ve seen many posts from you anywhere. How are things?
@PiecesOfWhoeverIWas Thank you for checking in. I'm not sure how to answer that question because I don't really know. Mostly I'm fine. I debate too much of what I want to say and by the time I win the debate, I've used up most of the energy and words I had. Hopefully that makes some sense.

@mytwistedsoul Oh yes I definitely understand this. I was just writing something along the same lines a couple days ago. It’s like our thoughts are going in so many different directions past present and future that we don’t even know where we begin trying to express it. Then I finally write and it feels like it bounces around so much no one could possibly follow. The backlog is frustrating and tiring.
@PiecesOfWhoeverIWas I'm sorry that you also have this problem. The only consolation is that after some time my brain erases all thoughts and I wind up feeling empty. It is frustrating and tiring at times but also offers some peace.
@mytwistedsoul I understand what you mean. I hope that doesn’t mean you’re repressing more things though? 😞 I think that’s happened for me sometimes. I’ll know that something was upsetting me, but I can’t seem to remember what. That scares me when I know it was something significant that wasn’t very long ago. Please be good to yourself Twist. We care and are here to listen anytime you want to talk, here or in another thread. Your thoughts matter.
