I didn’t finish this thread but I was talking about how I am with other people. When I was still going around other people. I stay very isolated since 2018. I never felt real. I got along with everybody though. But a friend to very few. Those very few all passed away but one. I was as close to real as I get with them. I could feel the difference. The friends I did make was mostly thanks to them. They continued to visit with me and it took years, but I finally connected with them. When they died along with so much other loss, I didn’t grieve and was diagnosed with complicated grief. It’s knowing that I probably won’t make another friend. I’m stuck.

I'm so sorry for your loss, it's tragic. It's difficult to replace a friend. Reading what you described, it sounds like you used to dissociate or struggled with your sense of identity.
