Hi all.... I was diagnosed with this around 5 months ago and still trying to accept it is part of me now as well as other mental health issues. I always feel like a burden sharing my thoughts/problems. I have printed off so much Info and struggling to use self help worksheets etc to help myself am really angry frustrated that I can't do it and learn so many different coping strategies all at once.. I just want to be out of my head. I know I'm not alone feeling this way. How do you all cope or try to?

If you tried all physio strategies and didn't work with you, then sometimes its a health issue that you don't know about. Medicine sometimes is the solution to all your problems.

@braveYard6633 Coping with a personality disorder is not easy. There are many ways to cope. Using skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common strategy.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a special type of therapy that is very effective in treating borderline personality disorder. It focuses on teaching individual’s specific mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.

Overall, working with a healthcare provider to find the best treatment for you will yeild the best results.
