I havent been diagnosed yet i wanna go see a therapist and get evaluated. I have alot of ppl who ive dated who have bpd and alot of there symptoms match mine. I decided to get therapy today and do the first step but part of me feels i can never be truly happy with someone because i feel my emotions are to intense and im to sensitive. I have such a huge fear of abandonment i get scared when someone gets close to me. I have feelings for this person and its scared me to date them i dont wanna mess it up because i cant emotionally regulate my emotions.

It's good you are seeking mental health support.. if you have it they can patch you up..

It's a real issue with bpd when your dating or in a relationship..

Bpd causes heightened emotions that will cause friction if not properly treated..🌲

Hi, welcome to 7 Cups 💜 Makes sense that you'd be pausing before entering into a relationship if you're worried that it could bring up a lot of emotional intensity and you don't want to mess things up by mistake. That's great that you're going to talk to a therapist and I hope that they're able to help.
