Acrostic Poetry

An acrostic poem is poem where a letter on each line (usually the first letter) spells out a word or phrase when read vertically.

Here's an example of an acrostic poem for the word Apple:

We're going to play a game - I will give a word for the next person to create an acrostic poem for. Once they have made their poem, they'll give the next person a different word! We'll keep going and can admire each other's beautiful poetry.

e.g.
Person 1: Apple
Person 2: Creates acrostic poem on the word 'apple' and gives new word 'banana'
Person 3: Creates acrostic poem on the word 'banana' and gives new word, etc.

The first word is... LOVE
