The Pain Life Brings

The aching of desire

Fuels my dainty heart

A familiar desire deep in my spire

But foreign, an unwanted dart

To the chest, hit a bullseye

Feel the pain it brings

As the fires deep inside

Exude only pleasant things

But the memories soon forgotten

Fade as the dart falls down

My tears begin to soak the cotton

My mind begins to drown

The pain overwhelms

The sorrows pull me in

There is only one escape in this realm

It leaves you hanging limb by limb
