Residue
The gifted gold, its glitter unfold
as fire shapes, its burning pain
an incense its stately glory uphold
by leaving its lasting scent
The pregnant cloud, bears her pain
reminds how life can be
The afterglow of the cleansing rain
A rainbow you shall see
The mind its mantle dreamy mesh
its cobweb spins alone
The untouched soul, in full prowess
yearns to return Home.

Your poem seems to carry an essence, like water. It just flows, and it's satisfying. It speaks softly, seems simple, yet reveals. It awakens kindly, rather than jolts awake. Like seeing a butterfly that's seems to shimmer in and out of existence, it's almost too good to be true.
A word is born, but not by force
It falls like light upon its course
Not carved, not planned, not sought to be
It rises, simply, endlessly
Between the mind’s deep hidden stream
And reason’s sharp, attentive gleam
A harmony begins to flow
The truth arrives, we only know

I've started reading The Bell Jar,(Sylvia Plath)
unusually it's giving me a sheer strength to push forth through the adversities of life..
and thanks for you honest poem, it really means a lot to me. I'll continue to try and contribute meaningfully in this site, though poetry is my only lifeblood here.

I've made up my mind to start flushing out my poems and songs, albeit at a controlled pace, lest the site overflows with my poetry, truth be told previously i used to write in free verse, but on another poetry site i met a famous poet, who commented "Writing free verse, is like playing tennis with the nets down", there is no challenge whatsoever, though I don't recommend poets or writers to stick to any particular style, but his words stirred my core, since then I began writing rhyming poetry, and i try my best not to force the rhyme scheme.....thanks
