It’s the silence that I never hear
What hurts me isn’t your violence
Its that people expect me to persevere
Treat me like the human I am
Please stop, don’t shout
I’m not some kid you have to watch
Please don’t kick me out
But what truly hurts the most
Is that I thought you loved me
