Battle within the night terror
Haunted in the night
the night terror seem so real
but they a mix of real truth
with some things added
in the night terror then that hurt us turn into mosters
as we battle them we see they not as they was
we see the monsters with red eyes looking at us
but now we no longer a child
so within the night terror we fight back
this fight is within our mind
so within the night terror we can destroy the monsters
they no longer have control over us
then we see the monsters as what they be
weak ones that had to hurt other to seem powerful to them
but they no longer have that power over us
as we within the night terror kick them and scream at them
then we see the monsters run
the abusers be monsters but they no longer control us
we have defeat them and taken back our power at last
we hold our head up high no longer scared of them
@stormieandpaws What a deep and powerful poem! Way to go! Y'all showed those horrible monsters who is boss! Y'all stood your ground, faced your fears, and fought back! And y'all won! Yess! 👏 How courageous! I hope that those monsters don't ever hurt or scare y'all again. I hope they are a thing of the past! Never lose the fight within. I read the poem and was literally cheering! ❤️ I'm so proud of y'all.
