This isn't a poem
I think anyone can relate
to the feeling of always
never being enough
you always see things you cant have
look in the mirror
you come out of the shower
happy that the condensation
on the reflective wall
covers your face.
I hope nobody can relate
to the fear that something is wrong with you
I want to be apart of something
nobody understands.
This poem isn't beautiful
This poem isn't powerful
Its just me typing words
For the hope that someone can see
and feel happy for themselves,
that they don't feel the same way.
So many of you are supportive
Why can't I feel it?
This poem isn't amazing
This poem isn't real poetry
Yet here I am, in the poetry sight
And others will use personification
and visuals
This poem is just words
That are making an effort to unscramble out of my scramble brain
Like headphones that still have two knots
And you're too lazy to untie them
why can't I bring myself to untie them.
This isn't poetry
This is a foggy mirror
knotted headphones,
needing supportive people there
This isn't a poem
@helperAve
@helperAve you wrote this beautifully. i hope things get better. remember, you are more than enough!
@helperAve
your enough even if not feel you be we had the same feeling it not a race in life at all not a power play either but some treat life that way but it not truth at all for each of us is enough just as we be hope some day you can believe that but for now we hold on the hope for you
you have a right to your feeling too
