@jesusredeemedme2425 its like, the people who are gone are not really gone, but live on in spirit, in the nature around us. I find it empowering, like no matter what happens, ive made my mark in this world. That kinda thing. You shld read it!

Ozymandias ...by Shelley, always relevant sooner or later, & quite so now, in the West:

I met a traveller from an antique land

Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone

Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand,

Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,

And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,

Tell that its sculptor well those passions read

Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,

The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed:

And on the pedestal these words appear:

‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:

Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!’

@slowdecline48 we had this for english just this last year! Fun to read, less fun to paraphrase. P.B Shelley is pretty good.

I like this one but can't get a read on it, well a read from my wacky perspective, it seems to be a cold and lost thing something so desperately wanting to be seen, felt, heard, and read, but despite its long trial when finally here it's lost, shattered, silent, and blank.

IDK maybe I did get a read lol
