Cow’s poems
A tree once stood, tall and proud,
In a field, where it's roots were bound.
It reached for the sky, with branches strong
A symbol of life, in which it belonged
But now, it lies upon the ground
Its trunk, now split, its leaves no longer found.
A victim, of man's cruel hand
A reminder of what once stood grand
It's memories, etched in the earth
A reminder of the tree's worth
The field, now empty, and bare
A reminder of what was once there
The tree, a symbol of life and growth,
A reminder of the beauty that came and go.
It's memory will live on, in the field,
A reminder of the beauty that once was real.
Night falls, stars appear,
Insomnia's grip is tight and near,
A cup of tea, a gentle light,
A soothing balm for the restless night.
Thoughts race, mind in a spin,
Trying to escape, but trapped within,
The warmth of the tea, a gentle touch,
A reminder that peace can be found so much.
With each sip, worries fade,
And a calmness starts to invade,
The night may be long, but the tea is here,
A companion for the journey, oh so dear.
The world can be a harsh and cruel place,
With hearts of stone, and a darkened space.
Where people act with greed and spite,
Taking what they want, without any light.
They spread their harm, like a deadly disease,
Leaving destruction, with every squeeze.
Their words are poison, and their actions vile,
A constant struggle, just to keep a smile.
But in the darkness, a glimmer shines,
A ray of hope, a silver line.
For those who stand, with love and care,
Shining a light, and showing they're there.
So though the world may be full of bad,
Let us not forget, the good we have.
For every heart of stone, there's one of gold,
A beacon of hope, that never grows old.
The hearts of gold may be rare,
and one can't find them everywhere
But when you find a heart so true
Take the time to reach out too
Iced tea, oh how sweet,
A drink that's cool, with every beat.
A blend of tea, with sugar and ice,
A perfect drink, for any vice.
With a lemon slice, or a hint of mint,
It's a drink, that's hard to disappoint.
A staple in summer, or all year round,
It's a drink, that's always in high demand.
Oh how it shines, in the sun's warm rays,
A drink, that's thirst quenching, in every way.
With each sip, a burst of flavour,
It's a drink, that's never too much to savour.
So here's to iced tea, a drink so divine,
Bringing us joy, with each sip we take.
For in a world, that's full of noise,
It's a drink, that's a perfect choice.
A little rat, with fur so sleek,
With tiny paws, and a nose so small.
He scurries about, with such delight,
Bringing joy, to the darkest of nights.
He explores his world, with curious eyes,
Finding adventures, that often surprises.
His tiny heart, beats fast with glee,
As he dances, among the debris.
In the shadows, he finds a place,
Where he's free, from life's fast pace.
With his small frame, and his nimble feet,
He proves that even the small, can be a treat.
So here's to the rat, with his tiny grin,
Bringing delight, to the world within.
For though he may be small, he has great might,
A little rat, who brings so much light.
@butterlycow Oh, my friend butterly. Oh, how you write, with such grace and beauty. I loved reading your poems. Please keep writing them. You're quite the writer, if I may say so.
@calmMango9611 Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words Mango ❤️
@butterlycow Your very welcomed, my friend.
I want to move towards my dreams,
To chase the things that make me beam.
No longer held by fear's tight seams,
I'll break free from its stifling schemes.
I'll let go of what's out of reach,
And not let it dictate my speech.
The uncontrollable I'll release,
And find a sense of inner peace.
My suffering I'll bid adieu,
And embrace joy in all that's new.
To feel secure and happy too,
And find comfort in all I do.
Friends and interests that fulfill,
Will nourish my soul and instill
A passion and a zest to thrill,
And make my heart with joy still.
May things go well and all align,
As I move forward, my design.
With clarity, my life will shine,
As I reach for the divine.

Becoming What You Need
When life gets tough and dark,
And you need a friend to spark
Some light into your weary heart,
I promise to be there from the start.
With a calm and soothing voice,
I'll be the friend of your choice,
To listen to all your fears and woes,
And offer comfort with a warm embrace.
My confidence will never waver,
And my words will never waiver,
For I know that you need a steady hand,
To help you through life's shifting sands.
I'll be your safe haven in the storm,
A place where you can always feel warm,
Where you can let your guard down,
And find peace in the midst of your frown.
Becoming what you need is my aim,
To be a friend who never brings shame,
But uplifts and encourages you,
To face the challenges that life puts you through.
So when you need a friend to lean on,
I'll be here, with my light shone,
To guide you through the darkest night,
And show you that everything's alright.
Spring is here, the world awakes
From winter's slumber, the earth shakes
As new life sprouts from the ground
And dandelions bloom all around.
Golden flowers dot the lawn
Their petals soft, their leaves long gone
A symbol of hope and change
In fields and meadows, they arrange.
The sun shines brighter in the sky
As birds return and butterflies fly
And with the breeze, the dandelions sway
A dance of life, in every way.
Their seeds scatter far and wide
Carried on the wind, they glide
To start anew in distant lands
And spread their beauty with open hands.
So let us celebrate this time of year
When nature's bounty doth appear
And dandelions bloom once more
A reminder of life's endless lore.
