(A Poem for Taylor)
Twinkly eyed
Full of laughter
Golden haired
Little girl
Who everyone mistook
For my sister
The seasons change
But you remain
Yellow school buses
Glittery pom-poms
Borrowed clothes
Practicing makeup
Giggling sleepovers
Sneaking out
Curling irons
First dates
Tearful hugs
Broken hearts
Turning our tassels
Throwing our caps
Tulle dresses
Diamond rings
White roses and lilies
An Angel before me
You’re my whole history
Your face
Looks like friendship to me
You’re a mirror
I am you
You are me
And my heart is shaped
Like the letter T
Inevitably
Because you molded me
And what remarkable women
We turned out to be
Perhaps it was always true
Since everyone else already knew
We were meant to be sisters
Me and you

So positive and beating! That was so friendly to me!

Thank you for sharing, it was so beautiful to read ✨
I could feel all the moments shared and the time passing so slowly and peacefully sumarized in a few words only, it is a beautiful story told in very loving words
