@AlwaysForYou197 Thank you for starting this thread! I've been thinking a lot lately about getting back to writing poetry, but for now I'd like to share one that I wrote a couple years ago.

Invisible Girl

Invisible girl
Always so good
Never does anything
Unless she should.
But does anyone see her standing there?
Invisible girl

Invisible girl
Doesn't think like the rest
Sees things differently
But tries her best
To make people see she's standing there.
Invisible girl

Invisible girl
Plays by herself
Toys, games and
Books on the shelf.
She keeps herself busy, waiting to flee.
Invisible girl

Invisible girl
Reached out one day
To the only One she could.
He held her tight
In His loving arms
Just like a good Daddy should.
He made her so very carefully
With His loving hands.
Now He keeps her safe and well
As only the Father can.
She knows He's right there with her
Holding her in His arms.
And now she can say good-bye to

Autumn

Bright bold colors
Falling leaves
End of summer
Chilly breeze

Holiday season
Hoodies and sweaters
Air is freezing
Days are now wetter

Days getting short
Nights are cool
Windy weather report
Started school

Autumn arrives
Spring is past
I feel alive
The end at last

Looking In.

Here I stand looking in wondering what it would be like to be looking out, here I stand looking out, wondering again when I'll be looking in.

This weekend, I present you my poem on "Weekends" I hope you will like it, and probably relate !

Here you go :-

Weekend :-

"It is Saturday,
What a weird day.
Might have classes,
Or chill in sunglasses

It is the end of Saturday,
Away has been sleep.
I need some songs to play,
And I fall asleep .

It is a Sunday,
I am going to play.
Or just day dream,
So that I don't need to clean.

The day is ending,
I am done pretending.
I sleep till the next sunrise,
As another weekend flies."

But, Corona has taught so many life lessons, in this whole year...
