The importance of our community

we all collect

collective with the desire

to speak carefully woven words

and have our whispers be heard

so we come to this room

and we do just that.

a whisper so small

It’s individually unheard

without the voices of others

it goes without being assured 

and gone with desire

but it’s just a little flame

in our forest fire

we can do without that.

little by little 

you know how this goes

our fire burns down

our spark goes unknown. 

collectively we are 

beautiful words sown 

but words dont grow

without a little water

from your soul.
