Hello Everyone! I'm a new Listener. My name is Tonya and I am a wife, Mom, Nanna, critter lover, and am pursuing my Master's in Human Services Counseling. After a lifetime of emotional and verbal abuse by my alcoholic father, and recovering from all that came from such experience, I am committed to helping others find their way out of the dark. I have experience in special needs, autism, marriage mentoring, hospice, illness advocating, memory care disorders, and all sorts of other "stuff". I have a commitment to kindness, compassion, empathy, and others knowing that they are worthy and valued. I hope to gain better listening and helping skills here at 7 Cups. I'm excited to have found you!

Hi Compassionte Tiny, I dont know where to start so here goes... I suffer from abandoment issues, anxiety, and my drinking has gotten out of control. I am reaching out because I dont want to live like this anymore and need a support system to help me to get through my feelings, and fears. I want to change... and learn how to reach out for help and comfort my anxiety. I need to reach out and try to get to the bottom of what triggers me and make some friends who can help support me as well as maybe helps others in my situation.
