10 Things You Need to Do Everyday

"Commit to do these 10 things at least once a day, and a year from now, you will have a completely different life!
1. Keep your word to yourself or others (especially when it’s hard to do)!
2. Move your body – even if it’s to walk around the block or stretching on a mat.
3. Eat vegetables.
4. Acknowledge and thank one person in a specific and meaningful way.
5. Resist velcro-ing yourself to one crazy thought or random belief.
6. Give something away (a thing, a kind word, money) without expecting anything in return.
7. Replace one act of pleasing (yourself or others) with an act of service (towards yourself or others).
8. Become more conscious of your breathing.
9. Learn less but apply one thing you’ve already learned.
10. Forgo one act of buffering (alcohol, drugs, social media, etc…)."
*We can always do something to better ourselves! Whether that be exercising, drinking more water, or being kinder, we are always able to improve. Practicing these 10 simple things (and more!) can lead us to living healthier lives. Personally, I could eat more vegetables and practice breathing more! I could always be kinder too! All of us are different, but we can all benefit from one positive thing or another! Which of these do you think you could practice doing more of?*

@fruityPond7887 That's a nice list hehe, love #3 lol, I guess for me it could be #2 and #5 needing more improvement. I love this quote in the picture. ❤
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou I understand Sun! I could always work on eating more veggies 😂 Thank you for reading!❤️
@fruityPond7887 Lol yes xD
@fruityPond7887
A very good list of behaviors to practice and adopt. Some are not too hard to practice but others can be. I agree doing these on regular basis would put someone in a very nice mindset over time.😊 but also result in nice, good-feel moments in the present.
Does #1, "Keep your word to yourself" refer to (Keeping promises) or (Holding your tounge) or (Both)?
@IsayUncle I agree with your thoughts! I also struggled to understand #1 😂 I think it's more of trying to keep your promises, but I think it could go either way! Sometimes I need to learn to have a filter so it's good for both! 😂
@fruityPond7887
I think you're right about leaning towards the promise meaning. thx. (but it'll be a reminder for me to bite my tongue too 😂😂😂)
Have a great day!
Resist velcroing negative thoughts, replacing pleasing behaviour with acts of service and forgoing social media I can share more of that!
