🥁 2023 PB Award Winners... 🥁
Happy 10th Birthday 7 Cups!
The PB award is named after the first big believer in 7 Cups – Paul Buchheit (PB). PB is mostly known as the creator of G/mail and the person responsible for their early motto do no evil. Most people do not know that he has the keen ability to see through to the essence of things. He often uses this ability to help make the world a better place. He immediately saw the potential of 7 Cups and was instrumental in our initial success.
Every year on this special day we give this prestigious award to one teen and one adult individual who has made valuable contributions to the community both as a leader, and also as a friend and peer to all of us: @TabbyCat97 for teens and @Chevy81 for adults!
@TabbyCat97 is a dedicated community leader and a familiar face in the teen community. She has often been seen in the Teen Listener Room where she maintains a welcoming presence and is consistently offering support to fellow listeners. Tabby understands the importance of acknowledging her fellow community users and is always happy to lend a helping hand. She has been instrumental in making the teen listener room an active lively space where you can get support and come hang out with your people! She holds various other leadership roles with her main focus being group rooms. We are grateful for her hard work!
@Chevy81’s passion shines through all she does. Chevy81 has worked hard and diligently assisted in upscaling the Listener Coaching Team and Care Team. First, Chevy took on listener growth as she assisted Mango3 as a Mentor Leader. Through proven results and commitment, she delivered operational prowess, streamlining procedures, and a strong leadership to assist Coaches and Guides. She was promoted to Ambassador this year. As an Ambassador, she has excelled through unforeseen circumstances that resulted in her leading two teams, Care Team and Listener Coaching Team, by herself as the only Ambassador. Despite this, Chevy never complained, always communicated, and was in good spirits working diligently to keep operations running smoothly. Always looking forward, she created additional lead positions to help delegate out responsibilities, while simultaneously helping listeners by giving them chances for leadership skills.
Thank you both for everything you do to drive our community forward. We’re so excited to see what you do in the years to come!

Tabby: your passion, commitment and hard work in 7 Cups is very inspiring, a model to follow. You are active on so many fronts, always with your characteristic overwhelming enthusiasm and uplifting candor. Very knowledgeable and professional at the same time.
It's amazing how much you have grown as a volunteer this year, for the benefit of so many people who receive your support in so many ways!

Both the Coach Team and the Care Team are beloved to me. The Coach Team was a godsend when having to strengthen some weaknesses as a Listener, and the Care Team helped me sort difficult situations and "find the way", and the right path I had lost.
That you can lead both great teams at the same time with such efficiency and success is a superb accomplishment. Thank you in the name of all Listeners who benefit from their compassionate and professional support!

Woah. I've never imagined that I would get this award 😳 I always think that PB award is the most prestigious award on 7 Cups. For all I know, PB award has been with Cups almost since the beginning of the existence of 7 Cups of Tea (I may be wrong though xD ).
