Leadership Spotlight: KyleBorg

@KyleBorg joined us in September of last year! He is the CML of the 7 Cups Leadership Community and has played a big part in the growth and maintenance of this subcommunity, and we’re so thankful!

Why did you nominate Kyle?
KyleBorg does a lot for the community from moderating the group support rooms to his mentor role. Kyle is an active member of the Subcommunity Leadership Team which links to his role of Global Teen Community Star. Kyle works with the Subcommunity Coordinator (CheeryMango) and processes, manages and onboards all Teen Project Agents across the entire of the community which is a huge role that he does ever so well at.

Kyle deserves to be a featured leader due to this day in and day out commitment to 7Cups he is always moderating the chatrooms, onboarding new project agents and helping members like myself in PMs, he has a real passion for the community and I am honoured to nominate him. Keep up the hard hard work.

We asked Kyle some questions to get to know him better!

1. A favorite quote or song?
"Success does not come without failure and those who have never failed haven't tried hard enough"

2. Your proudest 7 cups achievement
My proudest 7Cups moment would have to be becoming a Community Mentor Leader for the 7Cups Leadership Community, to be in that list amongst Admins and Ambassadors is priceless and something I never imagined I would achieve but yet here I am, a true reminder that anything is possible.

3. A fun fact about you
A fun fact about me would be that I not long passed out from the Army Foundation College Harrogate and am now a Signaller in HM’s Armed Forces, I plan on heading to Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on my 18th birthday to train as an officer.

4. If you had one piece of advice for our community
(leaders/listeners/members/whoever), what would it be?

Leaders don’t be afraid to ask for help, just because you’re a leader does not mean you are expected to lead from the front without support. Rome wasn’t built in a day - it took many strong leaders, teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Listeners self-care is important, do not forget to take care of yourself. Your efforts to support our members are highly appreciated however, you need a little “you time” sometimes. Know your boundaries and act appropriately.

Members don't be afraid to reach out for support, it is what we’re here for. Stay strong and battle through one step at a time.
