Learning from Mod Tye
Interviewee: @Tyedyedbutterfly65
What is one tip you'd give to new mods or room supporters looking to take the mod role?
Tyed: Be Kind to everyone because everyone coming here is going through something or they wouldn't be here. May not agree with them but still be kind in using the mod tools. Also never show favorites.
What would you say to your newbie mod self now?
Tyed: Nothing I like how I mod and wouldn't change a thing! 😊
Your top 3 learnings as a chatroom leader?
Tyed: 1. Not all Mods agree on modding. 2. Not all members are the same and we have to learn how they can be and are at times so ease up a little on them. 3. Do not over use your mod tools or go over another mod's head on their ways. Pm them if needed.
Any fellow mods whom you especially appreciate?
Tyed: 1. @MistyMagic 2. @Jenna 3. @InternalAcceptance

I agree!
You are an icon, a natural moderator, fair, kind, and knowledgeable.
You are a visible power in the rooms.
I wish there were more like you and that you could help the rooms achieve their full potential!
Listening - One Step At A Time!
@MistyMagicThank you and I am very proud of how I mod and being a mod ! 😊
You are so kind and You are the best ! I have learned so much from you when I joined the Listener Support Room so I thank you ! I feel the same about you !
I was the first member room supporter trained my Lorraine and she really was the one who helped me along and also many great ones that are no longer around who I miss dearly !
Being a Mod on other sites really did make a difference also and of course going through my own issues in life. I believe in being fair !
I really am grateful and thankful !
