Over the past year, we have all grown as a community and individuals. Here we would like to honor the accomplishments of individuals. We have all grown over the past year! In your submission below, please answer the following question:
Describe how you have grown over the past year! You can do so through telling a story or explaining a personal situation situation or challenge. As you do this, let us know how being part of the 7 Cups community has helped you in your personal development and progress. Share the impact of being a listener or member has had on your life and personal growth.

When you've spent a lot of time being a listener, you start to think that maybe you're the mentor (literally) and your members/guests are the mentees. But it occurred to me that perhaps it isn't quite like that at all. Maybe the truth is we listeners are learning and growing just as much as other members/guests are, too; in fact, these interactions we have amongst one another fulfill our very humanly desire to be with and connect with one another, and I think the mission that 7Cups strives to accomplish does so perfectly.
Within the past few months that I've been a part of this wonderful organization, I've learned that we are more than just a supportive website (even though we are this, too), but we are more: family.
My personal reflection is that I couldn't have been happier to become a listener! I was hesitant to get support at first but once I did, I knew I had to pay it forward. 7 Cups is the best thing I have ever done and I will be forever grateful for joining back in November 2014.

Came out as bisexual.
Started working out.
Found a girlfriend.
Graduated.
And so many more things. This year was great.
I've grown from being a listener not knowing the rules, how things word, how to effectively listen, to being nominated by an ambassador for a Mentor Role, I find that amazing!
The skills I've gained here have really helped me in empowering myself, my friends and my family in real life, Thank you 7cups!
