My current favorite is Untamed by Glennon Doyle
@goodOak6753 what's it about
It’s a memoir. What I liked about it, is that it encourages women(well, all humans really), to stop worrying about what society says and/or thinks we should do or expects , and instead to not be afraid to think and live outside the box that society and other people try to fit us into.
"The Call Of The Wild" - Jack London
One of the greatest of all classic American literature. I read this at age 12, and I have re-read it at least 5 times over my adult life. I always discover something new with each reading.
"The Fountainhead" - Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand said what needed to be said, which no one else was willing to say.
"Babbit" - Sinclair Lewis
A penetrating study of human nature and one's place in society.
"Foundation" (plus the following two parts in a trilogy, "Foundation and Empire" and "Second Foundation") - Issac Asimov
An epic series. There is really no way to describe or explain it.
The best book I've ever read is “13 Reasons Why”. I bought this book but never had time to read it but when I heard that a series based on the book was coming out soon I read it in 3 days. This is a really cool and exciting book that many will enjoy. From then on, I began to enjoy reading and devoting a lot of my time to it. I read so much that I didn't always have time to do my homework and that's why https://letsgradeit.com/review/topessaywriting/ helped me with that. Books are cool, just the main thing is to find your genre and everyone will love it
My favourite book of all time is The Counterfeiters by Gide ! It’s a story about different characters in France during the early 20th century. The author really develops their personality and thoughts, to make their stories intertwine in a fascinating yet realistic way. The characters feel… close ? I’m not sure how to explain it, they just feel so human, it’s incredible.
I also really really liked The Confusions of Young Törless by Müsil because of how relatable the main character is, and also I love any book by Zweig. I’ve also read No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai three or four times, I really like it but this one is kinda unhealthy because it deals with depression, and my stupid self reads it only when my depression is very bad (it doesn’t help).
And finally, The Steppe by Chekhov : it’s a novella but it’s literally perfect. It’s so poetic and weirdly relatable, and it gives me strength when I’m really not okay.
Thank you so much for asking this question, it always helps me to talk about books because they’re so peaceful.
Have a nice day !
