Hi everyone! I’m so excited- I just received my copy of How to Read a Book by Mortimer J. Adler and Charles Van Doren. I’ve been curious about this classic for a while, and I finally decided to order it. There’s something so refreshing about holding a new book in your hands, with all the ideas waiting to be discovered inside.
I’m really looking forward to learning from it and hopefully becoming a better, more thoughtful reader.
Has anyone here read How to Read a Book before? Or, what’s the most recent book you’ve picked up that got you excited to start turning the pages?

@elekhikaI do feel like that about new books, I didn't realise others did too. I have written three books so far and so this one you mentioned interests me, as in is there a right and wrong way to read a book lol?
