Isle of Palms by Dorothe Benton Frank. I am reading my way through her series about the Lowcountry in South Carolina.

Wrinkle in time

really good so far.

The Final Solution by Michael Chabon, a fun detective story with intriguing characters but a deep and serious background, light but seriously thought provoking story. Sadly beautiful and almost Dickensian.

I have to re-reply to this because I forgot to count audiobooks. I have made terribly slow progress with the physical book I'm reading (Final Solution by Michael Chabon, a noir detective story set in England about a mute boy who shows up in a small town in the wake of WWII with a parrot on his shoulder who sings and in German and squawks out random strings of German numbers...) BUT, I am almost done listening to the audiobook of Earthsea book 1 by Ursula K Leguin. I "read" it in a flash and love it so much that I already got book 2 in anticipation of it ending, because I don't want it to end...it's so good!

I also picked up George Saunders' Liberation Day, he's my absolute favorite short story writer of all time... can't wait to "read" that one (also an audiobook), as well as Rise of Empire (another part 2 of trilogy, got into a fantasy kick after finishing Crime and Punishment)

@rosie098 Tertullian. It's very good but I don't have anywhere to read at my house because my landlords are *** so the only time I can read is when my driver takes me to the library, 3 times a week.
