What book are you currently reading?
I've been in the middle of Outlander (on audiobook) for awhile now. I was totally in love with it and enthralled...but then I got to that one big scene that so many people have trouble with. I've been debating for months as to whether or not it's a deal breaker for me, and if I want to continue with the series, or even this first book. I so love the main character and want to know more about her journey and development, but I'm so torn! Can anyone relate?
(Other books I'm reading on and off right now: Movement Matters by Katie Bowman, Waking Up by Sam Harris, and Getting Things Done by David Allen.)

It's the really devastating scene where Jaime betrays Claire by "punishing" her. I don't want to get into the heartbreaking details here, but maybe with that tidbit you can guess at which scene I'm referring to? Not so much a "great" one, but a big one in the book.
@DogzRppl2 ohhhhh...yeah. That was tough for me too. I stopped rrading them for awhile after that....picked them up awhile again later but I do confess I was never wuite as engaged with and rooting for either od them after that. ...I never have understood the roma ce novels where one person suddenly decudes that ia the person for thrm forever more -->>>right after they've just been treated horribly and disparaged. 😒😕
@SpruceRaven Right?! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who had trouble with it! I think I might do just that - pick it up again when I'm ready. I do love the author's writing and the main character, so I guess I'm willing to see where it all leads. Either that, or I need to find an even better epic romance-esqu series with just the right elements to distract me! Any suggestions?

Do you like paranormal romance? Have you checked out the books by Eileen Wilks? Werewolves, strong characters both male and female; ... better to start @ the beginning of the series. I am reading the latest now...not quite engaging with it yet....it's #9 or so.
