What book are you currently reading?

A Horse For You -- Sanmao

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. I'm totally hooked.

And now I'm reading The Missing Girl by Norma Fox Mazer. It seems like an interesting book. Going to read it with care since the subject matter could be triggering.

I just picked up David Mitchell's *Slade House* (his take on a modern ghost story, sort of), Wendell Berry's *The Unsettling of America* (about post-agricultural society in the U.S.), and Carrie Ryan's *Forest of Teeth and Hands* (which may be geared more to YA readers, but it's about the post-zombie world, so I can't resist).

I'm reading Jeff VanderMeer's *Annihilation* today in its entirety, because it is absolutely engrossing. Don't know quite how to explain it.... It's the 1st of 3 in a series, and about... ummm... maybe a partial alien invasion? Or a psychological experiment? Or a dystopian near-future? I'm over halfway through it, and I can't be sure. It's complicated, and strange, and truly wonderful-- so lushly and disquietly written.

I read more some days than I do anything else other than breathe!

Me Me Me by Charlotte Crosby.

She's so funny, the book is too and it makes you feel slightly more normal. :P

I'm currently reading The Castle by Franz Kafka

Agnes gray by Anne Bronte. Over the weekend there have been celebrating Charlotte Bronte and her sisters and have had documentaries talking about them and their life

I'm currently reading David Copperfield after recently finishing Wuthering Heights. I particularly enjoy these books as I find myself immersed in the stories and it takes my mind off things.

Re-reading for the fourth or fifth time (I love this book, can you tell?!)

A Head Full Of Ghosts - Paul Tremblay

I'm re-reading Watership Down. It's actually one of my favorite books. :D
